BatteryOct 19, 2011
By Edward This external battery kept my Samsung Galaxy S 2 with power for 3 movies on a 2 leg flight of 12 hrs and had plenty to spare. Nice to discover that the ac charger charged both cell phone and external battery at the same time

Recharge on the plane!Nov 19, 2011
By Richard B. Olson
"Slide"
For long plane trips my Infuse takes a beating, charge-wise. I want to use it for games, music, movies... but I really need it working as a phone, a GPS devise and an email machine after I get off that plane. Spare batteries are ok, but I use a protective covering over the phone that's not easily removed. This device allows me to charge the phone without any kind of outlet available, which is perfect for long plane trips. And it works - slowly, but the phone will end up with enough charge to be useful. The bad news: this thing includes 2 ways to charge - one is a USB out to phone jack in, and it's fine, but means having a fairly long cable lying around along with the phone and the devise. It also has a built-in lead that is skinny and coiled, and goes straight into the phone. They need to be close together, but that's perfect. Only...it doesn't work. Something about the connector works only intermittently, so it's safer to just use the bigger cable instead. One other minor annoyance: overnight, you can plug the phone into the devise, and the devise into the wall, and it appears that both are charging, daisy-chain style. But it takes so long you may not have them both charged up by morning! Better to separately charge each.

Battery on the goSep 11, 2011
By JB Worked as charger when away from AC outlet. It was able to recharge my infuse from almost dead to near full charge when I was away from an AC outlet and allowed me to use my phone all day. The flashlight was a also a nice and usefull gadget.

Battery Anxiety Relief!Dec 12, 2011
By Paul S Gerstein The AnkerSlimTalk replaced a "New Trent" battery pack [IMP500] that broke after one use (and that the company very graciously accepted back for full refund). Compared to the bulky New Trent device, the Anker is thin, light, and elegantly compact. With its retractable built-in micro USB connector, the Anker has an industrial design reminiscent of Apple products: it just looks, feels, and works great. The AnkerSlimTalk is easy to charge-up using a standard wall or car charger with a standard micro USB cable (they supply a USB-to-micro USB cable). The New Trent required a special charger with a old-fashioned barrel-style connector--something you had to purchase separately and a big hassle because Android smartphones don't use this kind of setup.
I've only used the Anker a few times so I can't comment on durability or battery lifespan. One thing I can say is that the AnkerSlimTalk takes the worry out of owning a Droid RAZR with its non-removable battery. Coming from an HTC Incredible and swapping batteries out 2-3 times a day, I was worried about getting stuck with a dying RAZR where no charging outlet was available. Yesterday on a hike, I connected the Anker to the RAZR in seconds without having to shut the phone down or fiddle with battery cover/batteries. This enabled me to continue using a GPS mapping app non-stop while simultaneously charging the phone. No more RAZR battery anxiety.

GolferSep 06, 2011
By Doug White I was frustrated with my Smart Phone App Skydroid not lasting a full 18 hole round. A friend suggested getting a battery pak. I searched through Google and found the Anker Battery Pak. It looked and sounded exactly what I needed and purchased it. It is so handy that I just attach it to my Samsung Galaxy....put it in the cup holder on my cart and I am ready to go...and at the end of the round...a full charge is still going so I can tell everyone about my hole-in-one!
