This is my husband's case. We have the VERIZON iPhone 4. In fact, this case is selling in the Verizon store for $29.99! It fits very well and he really wanted a clip on holster as he wears his phone on his belt along with a pager. The phone slides in and out of the holster easily and I love the textured feel of this case. While in the holster, he has complete access to the power button, if he wanted to quickly route a call to voicemail. Mostly, I am envious of the NEAT slide out kickstand on the back. I was even thinking of buying one for myself and using it solo (without the holster) as it still offers decent protection outside of its holster. It is a well designed kickstand for viewing in both vertical and horizontal positions. The kickstand slides out forming a triangle stand. You will be very pleased.

I just received this product today. I had to replace my old case because it cracked when my phone slipped out of my hand.
PROS
- The case provides just enough grip that it can still be pulled from one's pocket without your pocket coming out too!
- The case fits the phone quite snug. However, it can be quite difficult to get the case off the phone once on.
- The kickstand is great and works in landscape or portrait view. I do wonder how well it will hold up over time though.
- Price. At ~$8 this is hard to pass up.
CONS
- My only (and unfortunately deal-breaker) con is that the case does not provide protection to the top and bottom of the phone when outside of the holster. To some this may not be a big deal. However I personally want my phone to be protected when outside of a holster. How many people will unclip their entire holster to talk on the phone? Not many and I know I certainly won't. I've provided pictures for potential buyers to understand my concern.
If this company corrects this design flaw, I would certainly purchase this product again.

I love cases a lot. In fact, I normally switch phone cases two to three times a week. Just so I have something new to feel and look at. At least that was until I found this case. I have AT&T, but a friend of mine has this case for his Verizon iPhone. I fell in love with the case once I saw it. I could not find this case in any store, so I somehow got what this case was called, searched it on amazon.com, and finally found it. This case is the absolute greatest case you could own for the iPhone 4. I would know, because I've gone through them all. Even the ever so famous Otterbox doesn't compare. This particular case has a great feel and texture to it, it doesn't add bulk, there's easy access to all of the buttons (for AT&T AND Verizon), it has an awesome kickstand built into the case, it also has a belt clip which I don't normally use except for running which it's perfect for! I would DEFINITELY recommend you getting this case! It's amazing!

This case is awesome. I bought it from Verizon for $30. I've dropped my phone a dozen times and finally I broke the case, but the iphone is fine. The kickstand is awesome and works whether you have it standing up or on it's side. It's pure genius and makes watching videos great.

I'll say it outright, this case is not perfect - it has its shortcomings and will not be for everyone.
That aside, for the utilitarian, and especially for those that pocket their phones, this case is surprisingly still the best case out there with a built-in kickstand. I know this because I have had to replace my original one, and after shopping around, I always came back to this. I'll get right into a list:
PROS:
-- The kickstand is built into the SHELL such that it can stand the phone vertically upright, and horizontally BOTH ways.-- The capitalized subjects are where nearly all other cases fail. There are a few shell/holster combos where the kickstand is built into the holster, not the shell, meaning you'd have to employ both the shell and holster to get the phone standing. Others even have some small, separate part prone to being easily misplaced if traveling. If a shell passes that test, then it surely fails the next, in that all other shells will only stand 2 of the 3 ways that an iPhone may situate itself. While most apps do orient a certain way horizontally, there are others that will only orient the other. This case covers all three possible orientations of an iPhone screen (short of jailbreaking, of course).
-- SLIM Profile -- Any of my friends/family that have an iPhone with a case of any kind (that isn't a simple bumper) immediately notice how much thinner my phone feels in hand. This is an especially attractive pro for people like me who pocket their phones.
-- Kickstand is SECURE -- Once that kickstand is open, it stays open. Many cases cannot say the same thing and have the stand close when the phone is pushed or falls down.
-- Grip and feel -- Not too rubberized to stick to clothing or other unwanted things, and just enough texture for a secure grip and just enough rubber to make it comfortable to grip and not slide off a slick, inclined surface.
-- Fits both ATT and Verizon iPhones -- Self-explanatory advantage here. Note that this case was originally sold in Verizon stores when they first released their iPhone 4, but take it from me as an ATT iPhone owner, it works for both without any trouble.
-- PRICE! -- If these features seem just mediocre to you, the price alone oughta sell you. At $6-7 for the shell/holster combo (or even $12 with car charger [...]), you just can't beat it.
-- Unobstructed flash/camera hole -- I have personally not used a case where the blocking or reflecting of a flash from the case was an issue, but rest assured I have taken hundreds of photos and videos with my iPhone in varying light conditions limited only by the camera itself. The edges of the camera/flash hole are matte and even flared outwards likely to avoid any possible reflections/obstruction.
-- Fits with Invisible Shield and other screen protectors -- If installed properly, protectors like my invisible shield fit perfectly within the borders of the shell. (Noted later in CONS, however, is that this is not true when using the holster.)
-- Protection -- I am not any more clumsy than the average phone user. I might be giving myself too much credit, but I imagine that most people drop their phones about once a week. That said, this phone has been dropped face-flat, back-flat, sideways, over and under, on kitchen tile, concrete, marble and more... and I have had no major damage to the phone other than scratching in the two areas not covered by this shell (covered in the CONS).
CONS:
-- Protection -- The biggest drawback of this case, is that if not in the holster, the shell does not protect the top front and the bottom front of the case (where the front glass meets the top/bottom edge of the phone). If dropped in an angle where this hits, the phone will get scratched and take damage. Personally, I have not had any major damage from dropping in these areas, but I can see how it would be possible. I do not use the holster, but doing so does cover those spots. Also, this is probably obvious, but this is not an Otterbox. If you drop this phone in this case from the roof of a 2-story building, I'm rather sure it'll break.
-- Pegs that hold the kickstand in can wear down or break over time -- What caused me to have to replace my previous unit, was that one of the pegs that held the kickstand in its tracks had broken. Note however, that the kickstand was still usable as long as you didn't knock it a specific way to pull the one missing peg side away from the other three. A friend had a similar experience. Both of these however, were after over 8 months+ of use. Personally, I'm okay with spending another 6 bucks to get the afore-mentioned advantages every 8 months.
-- Holster WILL NOT accept your screen protectors -- My dad for whom I purchased this shell, as well as a friend have noted that when used with the holster, the screen protectors they were using would get peeled off. I do not know if this is the case with all brands of screen protectors, but it did do it with two Invisible Shields.
Bottom line: It's more functional than any other kickstand shell, it has a versatile and VERY slim profile, it's incredibly CHEAP (in price, not design), but does not offer the protection of full-sized cases, which, though this is not an issue for me, is the only reason this has 4 stars.
If top-end protection is what you're looking for, this is not the case for you. But if you want a kickstand and/or a slim profile case, compared to the competition, then this is a 5-star for you and I'd say this is the only way to go. Get it now!
