Pretty good for the price.Jan 04, 2012

So I got this without ever having used a hybrid case before but wanted to try it out. I have to say that hybrid cases are really good, you get the best of both a hard plastic one and a rubber one. What's more is that this case looks really cool, I really like the way it mixes clear with opaque and how it shows the Apple symbol through the case. It seems really durable (but I'm not going to drop my phone just to test it!). The openings for the buttons are pretty good except its a little hard to get my finger (to be fair I have big fingers) into the opening for the volume keys. One thing I did find annoying is that the lock/power button is flush with the surface of the case so it's hard to feel if you've pressed it or not. Another complaint is that the the case is a little loose fitting at places, it's not enough so that the phone moves around in the case but it's still noticeable. With all that being said, this is probably the best case you can get for how cheap it is (I got mine for around $5 but at the time of this review it dropped to less than $2). So all in all I recommend it to anyone looking for a cheap way to protect their Iphone without taking away too much of the Iphone's thinness.

I really like the feel of this case. It fits my iphone verizon 4S well and the ridges on the side provide a secure grip. However, the case is fairly thick on the sides, so it makes it a bit difficult to adjust the volume buttons. Provides nice protection for the screen. Still looking, but this is my favorite case so far.

This case is by no means going to protect your phone if you treat your phone like it's a football. However, I tend to be pretty careful with advanced pieces of technology that cost hundreds of dollars. I didn't even use a case on my former 3GS, and I had that for 3 years without any issues. That said, considering that the 4 and 4S have a glass back and front and are generally much more fragile than previous iterations of the iPhone, I wanted to add a level of protection to my device. I got this case off the amazon marketplace for $1.00 plus $2.99 shipping and handling. I probably would have paid at least $19.99 for a case of this quality at Best Buy or some other comparable retailer. I've had my phone slip out of my hand at my desk or bumble onto the floor from the couch or coffee table, and this case protected it perfectly. Easy access to buttons, nice form factor, doesn't feel nearly as cheap as the price point would have you believe. Bottom line: If you're careful with your devices, this case should be all you need for a little piece of mind!
