I actually found this case to be much more than I expected. It's a two piece unit made of hard plastic with some give in it, so it's strong but also somewhat flexible. It has a matted surface texture, making it easy to hold and grip. You slide your Bionic into one piece which covers the back and sides of the phone and then slide that into the holster which protects the front face. Because the holster clips onto the belt vertically I hardly even know I'm wearing it. Very nice. The phone snaps into the holster with a click so you know it's in there correctly and it slides out easily enough. A few times practicing putting it in and out and I felt very comfortable with it. The clip has a good hook on it to keep it from slipping off your belt, so you actually have to want to take it off in order for it to come off. Not sure what others are complaining about as far as the kickstand is concerned. You just slip a finger nail under it and it pops right out. Definitely a nice feature for standing your phone up horizontally. I tried this case using the regular size battery that the phone came with (HW4X) along with the original back plate and it fits into the case just as well. Not loose or sloppy as one might imagine. This is great because you can switch batteries back and forth without having to also swap out cases. Definitely a plus. The only concerns I might have are that the rear camera lens is exposed when you have it clipped into the holster. Even though the lens is recessed and not flush with the case, there's always the risk of bumping or rubbing up against something which could scratch or otherwise damage the lens. My other small complaint is that you cannot charge the phone if it's inside the holster. If you unclip the holster from your belt and set it down with the phone inside it, the charging jack is partially blocked. You have to pull the phone out of the holster and then plug the charger into it. Not a big deal but it would be nice to charge the phone in one piece instead of two. All in all, it's a very good case. If you're tired of keeping your Bionic inside your pocket all the time, this would definitely help. And for the low price, I'm even considering buying another one to have on hand as a backup.

The best part about this case, what made it different from the others that you can get, was the kick stand. As long as the kick stand was working I absolutely loved it. Alas, the kick stand is much too flimsy. Now it is just another case....

This case fits my Droid Bionic perfectly. I wanted a case that wasn't slippery and had some grip to it and this is it! The kickstand in the back is genius, and I have no problem operating it. The holster works well, too. Great item for the money, super fast shipment, well packaged.

I bought this as a replacement for the original case I got with my Droid Bionic. I cracked the original (my fault) and wanted a new one. I was afraid this might be a cheap knockoff but was pleasantly surprised to see it is the exact same item as the nearly $25 case sold in Verizon stores. I love the easy in and out and well as the simply, unobtrusive attachment method to the phone.
Definitely a winner!
