This battery seems to be the same quality as the original that came with my Blackberry Storm II. The price is quite good. About a third of the cost of ordering one from Verizon and the labeling is exactly the same as on my original battery.

This battery is apparently a returned battery, via a third-party logistics company called "New Breed Corp" which is known for "reverse logistics" or the practice of collecting returned material (such as RIM batteries) and disposing or reselling it. With the batteries I purchased 1/28/11 from The OEM Shop, there was a New Breed Corp insert with each D-X1 battery, dated 3/31/2010 (10 months ago). A brand new battery would not have such an insert. So, these are NOT new batteries, and furthermore they are at least 10 months old and probably older than that, based on the dated insert: Since Li-Ion batteries have a life limit of about 3 years max even if not used, these batteries can be considered "stale" used batteries at best. They may provide adequate service for a year or so, maybe not. If they fail prematurely they are so cheap that it will not be cost-effective to pursue replacement from seller.

The Battery does not meet all my expectations as it will not hold a charge as long as I thought it would, but for the price I will not complain. I can buy six at this price for the cost of one new one.

This works perfectly....I wasn't sure at first cause it was so inexpensive. But after using it for a month, I realized, the phone stores are ripping us off! I will always comparison shop online. Never buy from a store. :)

This is not as good as the new battery came with the phone. But with this price it is a very good replacement battery. My phone now can last for a day and half.
