I got my iPhone 3G on launch day, and I wasn't sure which kind of case to get. I decided this was the safest choice because it was the cheapest available, and if I didn't like silicone skin style cases, then I could always go with another later.
Thankfully, this case is the only one I'll need. It is very simple, but it does the job wonderfully. Many other silicone cases do the exact same thing, but for some reason cost twice as much.
This case is very simple. It slides over the iPhone and protects the back and sides, while leaving the touch screen exposed so it's still functional. All of the ports and buttons are still easily accessible. Charging with the case on works perfectly. I haven't dropped the phone, but it seems like even if I did this would provide plenty of protection. I honestly have no complaints about this product, especially for the price.
The only warning I can give is to make sure you know what kind of case you want for your iPhone 3G. Silicon skin cases don't provide a ton of protection, but they aren't very bulky. Some other cases provide more protection, but they're bulky.

This case is awesome! highly recommended for someone that wants a sleek, well fitted case for their iphone 3G. There are no clips or sticky stuff that keeps the protector on, it just has a very small lip that catches the front of the screen and keeps it from falling off. I'm not a big fan of the material's texturized pattern on the back of the phone, but the sleek and low profile style of the case makes up for this flaw - despite its texture, i can easily take my phone out of my pockets without it catching on anything. If your phone is dropped, the case will save it from the scratches (on the back side at least), but if you drop your phone pretty hard it probably isn't as well protected as opposed to a harder case.
I bought a polycarbonate case for the phone as well but this case is far better.

I bought this case reading some of the other reviews - and think its perfect! The case fits really well on my iphone - and helps get a good grip when holding the phone. I'm not scared of the phone slipping off when talking, etc anymore. One thing it doesnt do, is protect the phone incase it fell, etc - I didnt really expect it to - so thats OK. I hate bulky cases, and I'm glad I opted for this! The price is too good to be true!
