 Not the oem battery picturedMay 21, 2010

The picture shows an oem battery and the description implies that it's an oem battery. The battery received is some unknown third party of dubious quality. My original battery lasted for almost a week when I first got it. This one barely lasts a full day on one charge. I will be contacting amazon about the false description and picture.

I ordered this item based on the picture which showed an original Blackberry battery. Instead, I received a battery with no manufacturer named and simply labeled "M-S1 Compatible with BB 9000 & BB 9700 Bold" (made in China). I'll report to Amazon and see if they force the seller to change the picture.

Had problems with other batteries I ordered for the bold 9000 because the gold connections would get pushed in after charging in the oem charger and would therefore not work in the phone because it could not make the proper connection. This battery has worked fine for me since I received it. On time delivery. Very happy with service and product.

An OEM battery is the only way to go. Unfortunately, many vendors use the pictures of OEM batteries in their ads. Then after ordering what
seemed to be a great deal - you find out why. It is not an OEM battery, but a knock off instead.
This product is the 'real deal' and well worth it.

This battery last nowhere near as long as the battery that came with my phone and it dies without any warning. My original battery would warn my when it needed to be recharged. I would not recommended this battery.
