Two great components; a smart case and an 850mA lithium polymer power supply rolled into one attractive, compact unit. The case snaps together securely north to south. It has a hard rubber matte finish feel. Some may complain of its tendency to show fingerprint smudges. All iPhone controls are unobstructed. However, the speakers and sync connection port become inaccessible, but well protected, behind a vented grill on the bottom of the case. This is resolved by providing a mini-USB connection point on the case, and a sync cable. I had NO issues with speaker volume, charging/syncing with the cable provided; or just charging from an AC outlet using the cable and my AC/USB adapter. Case-Mate claims up to an additional two-hours of talk time beyond standard iPhone battery life. I have not had the opportunity to test that claim yet. Overall, I am very pleased with the fit and function of the Case-Mate fuel lite rechargeable battery pack. It does add little bulk to the slim 3G silhouette. However, that's a small exchange for the benefits of having a 50% power supply on stand-by, and a precision fitting durable case. I particularly like the flat screen surface maintained by the case. It makes wiping my screen easy, by not having any raised edges to catch or accumulate debris.

I've purchased this case mate From local disturbuter, in my country "Kuwait", I recommend it for emergency use to get back 50% power recharge, don't expect to get a full recharge back, but it helps when you are outsourced of power. Also it's light in weight. Does not add any bulk to the iPhone size, it fits from top and bottom pretty well, plus led bulbs does illuminate directly to your eyes sight, they are fitted in the back of the case.

I purchased this battery extender with the hope that it would significantly extend my Iphone battery life. IT EXTENDED THE BATTERY LIFE LESS THAN 20%. I was so disgusted that I threw it away. I have since purchased a Mophie battery extender. It has actually DOUBLED the life of my Iphone between charges.

Bought one from a retail stre still is working I had it for about a year . This one I bouth from a third party does not charge any more only had it about a mounth. Same make as the one I bought from a retailer.
