Very practical, light case. Looks as good as the picture!Oct 11, 2007
By M. Bhatia This case is really good for the iPhone if you're looking for a horizontal case.
Here's what I like about it:
- Looks great. Good quality (including the packaging)
- Very light
- Clips on horizontally so it's easy to sit without damaging the iPhone
- Keeps the iPhone out of your pocket so that lint doesn't get stuck in the connectors and speakers
- Has a little pocket inside where you can store the iPhone cleaning cloth
- Easy one-handed operation to remove the iPhone to answer a call
- You can use the headphones/handsfree without opening the cover
- You can access the 'silent' switch by flipping the cover open (without removing the iPhone provided you insert it with the switch facing up)
- It protects the iPhone enough to avoid accidental damage
- It lets you use the iPhone as-is since you actually have to take it out of the case to answer calls (without handsfree.) Remember, the iPhone's form factor was designed for a reason, so don't use it with a rubberized case. It defeats the purpose of a well-designed product.
What it's not meant to be:
- Certain parts of the iPhone are exposed. It's not meant to be body-armor or a waterproof case. (You've paid $400 for this device, take good care of it)

Poor quality - no warrantyAug 21, 2009
By William Harkins

I bought this case and liked it very much at first. It worked very well for my needs. However 3 months after purchase, the belt clip pulled out of the case and the case became totally useless. Looks like it was just glued in and doesn't hold up. When I contacted the manufacturer, their comment was (and I quote), "DLO cases carry no warranty, I'm afraid you would need to purchase another case if this one has become damaged." This from Greg W at Philips Customer Care. I would say don't waste your money on this. There are other options out there.

I really like except for one feature...Sep 16, 2008
By bythecshore ...and that one feature is the Velcro flap. The problem is that when you want to *quietly* open it in a movie theater or meeting, it makes a ripping sound that makes it obvious that you're checking your email (or whatever). I wish it was magnetic instead.
Other than that, I really like it - it's small, lightweight, stays close to my body and looks good. I don't even realize I'm wearing it. It's my 3rd iPhone case/holster, and the one I like best.

iPhone holsterJan 18, 2009

The holster is too small to fit an iPhone 3g with any kind of a protective cover on it.

Don't waste your moneyDec 08, 2009
By Nguyen M. Tu Don't waste your money. The clip came off after a few months of used. The case came off the clip and missed the toilet bowl by an inch. almost ruin my $600 iphone. The clip was just clued to the case. Call DLO and asked them if this was a known issue and they're just play dumb and said never heard of it. It should be a recall.
