 NOT NEW Battery, USED BATTERY!!!May 04, 2010

This battery was advertized as NEW but what I recieved was a recycled battery that was repackaged on 1/23/2009 by NewBreed Corp a logistics company, and sold by OEMforCheap. I'm giving this battery three stars because it does work and holds about 80 to 85 percent of the charge of the actual new battery that was included with my reconditioned cellphone from PagePlus. Along with this battery I purchased, from the same company, a car charger that was in fact new and what was purported to be a "NEW OEM Samsung Stereo Hands-Free Headset" which was in fact also reconditioned with inferior replacement earphone tips. All three products where manufactured by Samsung but only one of the three was actually new and NONE of the three came in original manufacturer packaging. Shame on you for advertizing these USED, RECONDITIONED OR REPACKAGED products as NEW. Next time I will purchase actual New products from a secondary manufacturer.

When the battery on my Samsung phone failed, I was floored by the cost of a new battery in the phone store. I ordered this battery through Amazon for much less money even though it is the exact same battery that came with my phone and which the phone store sells. The battery has worked fine without any problems.

Shipping was fast and the product was the exact replacement that I needed for my samsung alias. Holds a longer charge than my old battery.

I've never taken the time to post reviews but this was disappointing and a complete waste of money. The battery looked new and looked exactly like my original but it did not work at all. Put it in the phone and it wouldn't even turn on or accept a charge. Had to go to Verizon and buy a new one.
