Broke within one hour...new record!May 19, 2011
By PG303 I just got this a little while ago, plugged my phone in and it started charging fine for less than an hour then just quit. The cord works fine when plugged straight into USB, but the wall adapter is already kaput...not putting out any voltage. I plugged my factory adapter into the same outlet and it works fine. Don't buy unless you are just buying it for the cord. This unit's P/N is 79H00096-00M and does not have the marking to indicate it is UL approved. The piece I got from Sprint with my phone is 79H00095-01M and is UL approved.

Charger did not workOct 18, 2011
By NoShame This charger does not work. When I plug the charger into my phone, my phone lights up like it's being charged, however that is not the case. As soon as I unplug the charger my phone starts to die, even after being plugged in for several hours. Bummer.

Stay away from meAug 23, 2011
By Mike M I ordered from these people through amazon prime and the shipment took for ever to arrive. I gave them a poor rating and now they have called me three time to try to get me to change the rating.
Stay away

The only review you'll ever needFeb 02, 2012
By Daniel Cornejo I've boughten 8, yes 8 of these due to the fact that these keep breaking. They are cheap in price which is why I bought them and are official htc chargers but they just don't hold up. I would like to say the price justifies the item. It certainly is better to buy these here online then going to sprint or att or whatever cell phone provider and buying them at a marked up price but as for the product itself it's not built to last. each only i have had lasted only a few months. the problem lies in the end of the cord that connects to the phone splits from the connector for the phone. every single one has done this same thing (except the one for my car) and it goes to a point to where you have to move the cord around in order to find a "sweet spot" in order for the phone to charge and then hold it there until it your phone makes the disconnect sound. disappointing. the last one i purchase the same issue happend but luckily it's still able to charge without me having to hold it in a certain position. it's a manufacturer defect. fix this! 80 bucks and finally one works. i only use it by my bedside and i only it sits on my nightstand and i barely even use my phone before going to bed i sit on a nightstand and i connect it to an extension cord because the cord is short and i can't hold it comfortable going just from my outlet location to my king size bed. fix this please! the one i ordered for my car is still holding up but i barely even use that one only when my battery is really low.

A Defective Disaster!Dec 23, 2011
By Moni The product I received in fact was not an authentic HTC charger as advertised. The charger head seems to work fine plugged into a original HTC data cord, but the data cord is defective. It will not charge my phone (HTC MyTouch 4g) and in fact almost seems to drain my battery. After the first use it caused my phone to start acting really wonky. It wasn't charging and when it finally died it would not power back on. Everytime it was plugged in, the charging indicator light would just blink on and off. It took a day or so of charging with a regular HTC charger for it to start working properly again, and its been fine ever since I stopped trying to use the data cord. This product is clearly defective and potential detrimental to electrical devices. ~Moni
