 Case as advertised, but not idealFeb 13, 2009

This case is as advertised, a black soft rubber silicone skin. The skin only goes up over the bottom, and then under the sliding part of the top of the phone. As a result, it often 'hits' the rubber, making it slide, because the rubber isn't snug. When I bought this, i was thinking something more like the silicone cases they make for ipod shuffles, that you stretch to get onto the phone, and it is nice and snug and fairly thin. But this is not the case. This one is very loose, and also it does not cover the top of the phone. It only covers the buttons on the bottom, and the back and sides. So if you drop the phone and it hits anywhere around the screen, this will not do anything. I used it for a period of about a week before moving on to the next cover.

Is exactly as advertised, but don't bother. This didn't last a week before I had to get some tape to hold it in place at the top under the screen. I feel for the manufacturer (I think it's a difficult problem to solve), but it's still a piece of crap.

Very easy to use, appears to be of good quality, simple to attach. I suppose it is hard to know how good it will be until my phone falls, but it is a nice addition to my G1.

Very flimsy product. It might be selling for next to nothing but it's really not worth the mailing and the packaging. I ended up throwing it away as it did nothing to protect the phone. Quick mailing so I can;t comment on that.Just that the product itself is lousy
