I ordered this new, and it seems to hold a better charge than the original battery. What an excellent price, $10 here, compared to at least $40 thru Verizon Wireless. Good service, fast delivery.

Description does state NEW battery, contrary to another poster. Unfortunately, battery was DOA. However, my computer geek friend stated that even new batteries may need to be charged first. He was right. Once I fully charged the battery, it worked and continues to work flawlessly. I can now go days without charging my HTC and thanks to this seller, I wasn't forced to buy a brand new phone, because the phone is now obsolete. Price is great!

I was lucky to find this battery that fit my older smart phone as it saved me from buying a new phone and having to spend more money on a phone / date plan. Fit perfect, charged it up and phone works great and holds the charge very well. I did have to replace the charging cable as well.

I received my purchase in a timely manner, put it in the phone, charged it overnight and went to the cell phone store to have the phone activated. I gave the phone to the clerk to program, and the phone would not turn on. He tried to use several chargers to turn the phone on; however the battery would not come to life. The good news is it was inexpensive; the bad news is I ended up buying a new phone. Given the cost of shipping the battery back, I didn't feel it was worth my time or effort to return it, and just disposed of it.
