1Beware When Buying This Product If You Are Expecting To Receive The HTC Evo 4G Standard BatteryMar 08, 2011
By JRC
Do not order this product from the "SellPhoneStop" if you are expecting to receive the HTC Evo 4G Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00123-22M). They will instead send you the HTC Droid Incredible Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00134-02M). While the seller may try to convince you otherwise as both of these batteries will work in either phone, these are definitely NOT the same battery so do not be fooled. I actually have the Droid Incredible (not the HTC EVO 4G) and its standard battery (P/N: 35H00134-02M) is only a 1300mAh battery while the HTC EVO 4Gs standard battery (P/N: 35H00123-22M) is a 1500mAh battery. Just as an FYI to DI owners, if you do a little research on the internet you will find out very quickly that the battery which HTC markets as the "extended battery" for the DI has exactly the same P/N (35H00123-22M) as the standard battery for the HTC Evo 4G (i.e. they are one and the same). Despite the fact that the batteries are identical, you will find that if the battery is being labeled as the HTC EVO 4G standard battery the price will be around $15 while if it is being labeled as the DI "extended battery" the price will be closer to $30. Just in case you are still skeptical, on a personal note, I have had the DI for nearly a year now and have been using the HTC EVO 4G standard battery(P/N: 35H00123-22M), which I ordered from another online retailer at that time, in it since the second week I had it. It has worked flawlessly and provided a substantial improvement in battery life compared to the Droid Incredible's standard battery (P/N: 35H00134-02M). This battery however, I was actually ordering for my brother who just got a DI.

Going back to my product/seller review, I ordered this product from the "SellPhoneStop". After receiving the item, I checked the P/N and realized I had actually received the Droid Incredible Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00134-02M) instead of the the HTC Evo 4G Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00123-22M). When I contacted the seller regarding the mix-up they initially tried to tell me it was the same battery (which I'm sure many people would have just believed as the battery would actually work in their phone too) however, as I explained above they are definitely NOT the same battery. After realizing that I knew what I was talking about, the customer service representative finally said "that is all we have and all we ship for that ASIN". So basically they openly admitted that they don't even carry this battery! Following this, I left the seller negative feedback (which was obviously justified) given the fact that I felt it was pretty shady that they are selling this product as the HTC Evo 4G Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00123-22M) when they openly admitted to me that they don't even carry it! Upon learning that I had left the negative feedback, the seller contacted my via phone and email and was extremely rude and condescending to me in asking me to remove the feedback. That being said, the seller did agree to give me a full refund for the product as well as for my return shipping charges and I have subsequently removed my negative feedback as I am a man of my word and told the person who contacted me I would as long as I did indeed receive a full refund for the product as well as for my return shipping charges. So buy this product at your own risk and if you do make sure when you receive it that you check the P/N to ensure that you have in fact receive the HTC Evo 4G Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00123-22M) and NOT the HTC Droid Incredible Standard Battery (P/N: 35H00134-02M)!

My apologies to those of you who do not own a DI and were simply looking for a product review on this battery, however I felt obliged to share this information which I have learned with other DI owner's who might be interested in purchasing this battery.

Well, as of November I can say they are shipping 1500mAH batteries identical in every way to the original, down to the Part no.: 35H00123-22m. Looking at 3 of 'em and can't tell which one came with phone (other than the numbers I wrote in perm marker to keep track).

The battery is perfectly fine. Keep in mind, it is 1300mAh. The Evo comes with 1500 mAh battery

5Ok, ok... Clarification need here.Aug 06, 2010
By Shelly Sinha
I've been looking for some of these red OEM standard batteries for my HTC EVO. Anybody with one of the babies will bemoan the utter uselessness that is the battery life. When I first bought my HTC EVO, I brought an extra black version of the battery they offered. The Sprint store in my local mall offered me another black battery. When that wasn't enough, I bought two red batteries like the ones shown here. So, I have five in total. LOL.

This is where I need to clarify one thing about these batteries. While some reviewers are noticing the silver band around these batteries, I can verify that the batteries from MobileCityOnline store on Amazon.com are the same like the original battery in my HTC EVO. Yes, you will have to shell out more cash for MobileCityOnline's batteries. In addition, there is no noticeable difference between the batteries purchased from Sprint and the batteries purchased from MobileCityOnline. So be careful and buy at your own risk (if anything make sure to get an idea or better, in writing about the refund policy from the store of your choice).

And a big thanks to the reviewer Khang D. Mai for pointing this issue out. Unfortunately, without his vigilance I would have fallen into this trap.

1Sent 1300 mA batteryJan 21, 2011
By Paul S Gerstein
I've had previous problems with this company--sending items that weren't as described. The standard EVO battery is 1500 mA. These folks sent me a 1300mA HTC Incredible battery. I'm returning it for a refund. AccessoryOne (the real vendor) told me that didn't have the EVO battery in their warehouse. Sleazy.
