I liked this case alot for my G1. Fits great. Didn't break when I dropped it. Does get dirty easy tho.

I ordered this cover for my daughter's T-MOBILE GI Cell Phone along with a new replacement battery and an Original OEM Backdoor all from Amazon. In my original feedback on this order I wrote that we were happy with it, which we were at first! Well about a week or so after we received it in the mail it melted in my daughter's pocket...YES MELTED!! Yup you read that right, MELTED, in her pocket-VERY BIZARRE. Let me explain...Well she wasn't in the sun for any extended length of time or at all for that matter. She wasn't wearing anything for winter that's warm or hot, constricting, tight,layered, etc...She was wearing loose fitting, thin & light denim shorts with a little summer t-shirt. She wasn't ill where she would have been overheated for any reason or had a fever with a high temperature. Her activities on the day it occurred last month in June weren't any different than any other day, we were home all day, it being the summer and all. In fact we stayed inside most of the day, she went to hang out with a friend later in the day but went to the movies. The last time she could remember visually seeing her phone (with her new purple case on it) was when she put her phone in her pocket after returning from the movie theater bathroom, so she could feel it vibrate if I called about picking her up after the movie ended. After the movie she went to text me and that's when she was COMPLETELY FREAKED OUT that her case had melted but more so as to HOW IT MELTED IN HER POCKET WITHOUT EVEN BEING OR FEELING WARM OR HOT IN ANYWAY!!!! It's literally been a complete mystery to us as to how this happened! Myself, her Dad (my husband), the friends she was with, etc...have all tried figuring it out, because this case is made of a pretty good thick gauged plastic. At this point I have not yet contacted the seller regarding "The Case of Mystery Melted Cell Phone Cover"....ha ha ha! But do plan to and update my Amazon feedback for this item! Oh just a clue or footnote: The temperature outside that day was roughly around 89-90 degrees, we have a new extremely cold air conditioner in our home where she was the entire day. The vehicle that she went to the movies in was a new Cadillac Escalade, and the A/C was on Max Cool the whole way to the movies. Of course the movies theater was VERY WELL air conditioned, in fact she told me she got cold during the movie. She came home with me and I ALWAYS have the A/C on MAX in the car. They didn't even buy and junk at the movie concession to be able to blame it on a hot tub of popcorn or a hot hot dog or anything!! Weird but just be aware if you purchase this cell phone case it may "SPONTANEOUSLY MELT"... ha ha! Instead of ya know "SPONTANEOUSLY COM-BUSTING!"

Ok I have an old G1 and this phone has been well used. The back was missing, so I just got a case. I liked the color. The case works well, it fits, its hard enough to protect the phone and prevent further damage. A problem is that, while assembling the case to the phone, I lost signal on my bluetooth. Then the signal faded & call dropped. Mind you, this was as I was putting the case on.
Well now I am missing calls left and right. I have to almost sit IN THE WINDOW to place calls that drop anyway. We have had T-Mobile when it was Suncom (up here in NC). I have NEVER had problems with service. I am guessing the case is interfering with the signal. The case comes in 3 pieces. The bottom & smallest piece holds the whole thing together. I have lost that piece repeatedly. I am BACK on Amazon looking for yet ANOTHER case.

I bought this pretty, yet durable case and it has proven to be a good deal. It's fairly solid and easy to put on. Make sure you buy a screen protector as well!
