 Works okay and then falls apart.Oct 31, 2011

I installed this a week ago on my iPhone 4 and it works as I expected it to. The only complaint I have with it is that there are some little specks around the edge of the camera lens cover, almost like sawdust or something but it doesn't come off. It doesn't affect the picture quality at all. On mine the camera also does not vignette. The important thing about this is that it has metal screw holes which means it should be just as durable as the original back and not snap off. I emailed the seller before purchasing and they informed me that all of their backs now have metal screw holes, in case you are looking at a different color or finish or something. The fit and everything is perfect. I've heard stories about it warping and denting and stuff but I haven't seen anything like that. You might think that it came straight from Apple this way except for the slight lens debris. It came with both screw drivers, the philips and the 5 star shaped one that current iPhones use, so you can install it within 3 minutes of receiving it.
UPDATE: After a few months, the little piece of plastic that covers the camera lens just fell off, leaving a big hole with the camera underneath. It's a very thin piece of plastic and got very scratched up, making photos noticeably soft. I guess if I wanted to, I could glue the piece back onto the cover, but I don't care to. I'm glad I kept the original Apple glass back and I've put it back on. This product is great in theory but it's just such poor quality.

I bought this iPhone replacement backing because it looked pretty good from the pictures. When it came in the mail, it still looked pretty good. After one day in my pocket (mind you, I have a desk job...nothing super active)and there is a dent in my case from a change in my pocket or something similar. After a few weeks, the apple logo and the fake metal coloring was fading off. Now I have a dented, faded, fake brushed aluminum looking iphone back. I DO NOT recommend.

I rated this three stars because I feel the build quality of the back replacement cover was really nice (better then I expected for the price) However my problem was with the free pentalobe 5 star and cross head screwdrivers.
I have an iPhone 4 and the screws were the pentalobe 5 stars but I was unable to remove the screws with either screwdriver. I contacted the seller and they were willing to send me a new one free of charge but I never followed up so that was my own problem. I ended up getting a new phone shortly after.
If you have a screwdriver on hand that works for your iPhone, this is a nice and sleek back plate.

I really like the professional/executive look this new backing gives to my AT&T IPhone4. I've had it 1 week and the camera lens cover came off in my pocket. I'm going to keep it and attempt to use a very little bit of super glue to re-install the camera lens cover based on other posts. Other than the adhesive failing on the lens cover, the product is really great. I want to give this product 5 stars but can't because of the adhesive issue. Installation of the backing was surprisingly easy. I received two screwdrivers with the new backing and one of them worked for my phone. I really like the backing, so I hope my amateur adhesive job works! Otherwise, i'm going to have to purchase another since i'm replacing a cracked original backing with this one.
