I only had my Vu a week before the screen acquired its first scratch. My purse is a dangerous place for cellphones! Now that I have this clear screen protector, I'm a lot less worried about about the screen getting all scratched up.
I did find the protector a lot easier to apply "in theory" than in actuality. I kept applying it crooked, too far to one side, etc. Fortunately, it's pretty easy to lift off and reapply. The adhesive was still very strong, even after about five attempts. When I finally got it positioned correctly, I noticed it had picked up a little piece of dust between the screen and the protector, so I had to lift it up partway AGAIN to get that out. I wound up with one small bubble where the dust particle had been, but that seems to have settled out overnight, so all is good.
My husband apparently had the same problem; his screen has two small bubbles that don't seem to be settling out. They're not apparent when the screen is lit though, and the two little bubbles help us tell our phones apart.
So I recommend the screen protector, but also suggest you get your hands and the screen really clean, go to a well-lit, dust-free area and put on your reading glasses (if necessary) before attempting to apply it. Or get a friend with really steady hands and superior hand-eye coordination to do it for you.

The reusable screen protector fits well with the LG Vu. The screen protector comes with a peel off front and back thin film layers to protect the actual screen protector keeping it new and unscratched. It has a peel off tab for ease of removal from the actual screen. Make sure to have the sticky side of screen protector on the LG screen.

Easy to apply to phone. Makes cleaning smudges off phone a snap! No worries about scratching the surface of the screen. Would recommend this to any one with a touch screen VU.

This product had tabs on the end to get them apart,when you try to remove the tab..it will not come off,and then left a sticky spot
where it was..I tried numerous times to remove it,with no success.I was going to just throw it away,but my daughter wanted it on her
phone anyway..luckily it is partly covered by the phone cover I purchased for her.

I bought 3 of these the end of October 2009 for our 3 new LG vus. Since they are touch-screen phones, I knew they'd get hard use, especially since one was my 14 yo son's 1st phone. I put them on all 3 phones; I had no problems with positioning or adherence. They have worked extremely well! My husband uses a stylus to type - which isn't how the screen is supposed to be used - but hasn't a mark on it. My son also hasn't a scratch, nor do I. I would recommend these to anyone looking for a functional screen protector.
The only reason I rated these 4 instead of 5 stars is the dust bubble problem. I know they have all sorts of warnings about "dust-free" areas & have a lint cleaner - but, honestly - unless you have a "clean room", there is absolutely no way you are going to avoid a bubble or three when you put on this cover. These bothered me at first, but we all got used to them - they are pretty small. I'm not sure that any type of screen cover would be any different. However, if you are picky or bothered by small defects on the screen, you might look around & see if there are any others that have solved this problem.
