AccessoryOne / Webtreo ships USED batteriesNov 13, 2009
By N. Ishler I have had a LG VX8300 phone for about 3 years. The battery is no longer holding a charge nearly as long as it originally did, so I ordered a "Lot 2" 1100mAh replacement battery from Accessoryone through Amazon. It was advertised as a NEW battery.
When the package arrived, there were 2 batteries in it (hence the "Lot 2"?) The first battery charged very quickly (under 30 minutes), but it lost its charge faster than my 'old' battery.
I have since checked out both of my "new" batteries. One is newer than my old battery, the other is older. Do a 'Google' search for "LG battery date code".
Both batteries I received from Accessoryone are USED. The contacts show wear marks from making contact with a phone.
Look at the contacts on your battery. The surface should have a dull 'matt' finish if it has never been used.
Good luck if you buy from Accessoryone. Accessory is also listed as Webtreo.

Super battery dealAug 09, 2008
By Joseph F. Tripp I got two batteries for less than I expected to pay for one! The batteries were later models and had 10% more capacity. It became fully charged in 30 minutes. I feel like I hit a home run. The items were shipped fast and arrived safely. I would recommend this seller.

You are buying used, reclaimed, salvaged batteriesOct 18, 2009
By RB2 "Catholic" Same as some of the other posters.
However, they send used batteries, look closely with reading glasses at these there are scuffs, accumulated finger prints and wear. Yet they advertise NEW.
As someone else said:
****
They show you a 1100mAH battery and they send 2 1000mAH batteries that haven't worked well at all. Then I'm supposed to take my time and go through the hassle of calling and returning the product they intentionally sent as a switch. Many others have the same complaint. Don't buy from this vendor.
****
For me:
They send me 2 USED 1000 maH , and upon first complaint they said they looked at their stock
and cant understand the mistake....by the look of these reviews these people are playing
coy at best. After buying from many vendors of supposedly *new* batteries, but offered at *used/salvaged* prices, I find the dirty little secret of this industry is that they salvage used batteries test them, grade them, then sell them off as *new* or *used* according to their grading, figuring that most will not be the wiser.

LG Cell Phone BatteriesMar 01, 2009
By Pete Wrong batteries shipped initially. 1100 mAh advertised but lower rated 1000 mAh were shipped. Took several weeks to straighten it out.
