 Seems to work with PC but not MacOct 11, 2008

I purchased this cable in order to be able to transfer pictures, music, and video between the memory card on my cell phone (LG CU500) and my computer.
This seems to work fine on my PC (Windows XP), with the memory card on my cell phone showing up fine as an external hard drive when I plug it in.
However, I didn't have any luck doing the same with my Mac (OS X 10.5), as I get an error message when I plug in the cell phone through the cable and the cell phone is not recognized.

Nice well made cable and does what I needed it to. Only cons: cable length is about 2 feet though that's not a big issue in my case, and the CU500 doesn't charge from the USB bus (but that's not the cable's fault that I know of).
