The smoke color argyle design actually looks quite cool without being distracting. The case has holes in all the right places for microphones, noise cancellation. and such. I wouldn't waste money on a $30 case from T-mobile, because this one will do just fine. The material is perfect because it's shock resistant (unlike plastic cases), yet not stick and dust attracting (like silicon cases). The only downside is that it covers the lockscreen and volume buttons, making them a harder to press.
Pros:
Protects well
Great fit
Feels great in the hands
Looks nice
Doesn't add much weight and bulk
Cons:
Makes volume and lockscreen buttons a bit harder to press if you don't cut out holes for them.
Bottom Line:
The material, fit, look, and feel of this case are absolutely perfect for me. I would highly recommend this case (or other TPU cases) to anyone who wants to protect their valuable cell phone. Just be sure to cut a bit out of the case to make buttons easier to press if you wish!

you really can't ask for more from a case this cheap. i don't meant to disparage it either. it's a perfect case for the g2x, and far superior to the junk in the t-mo stores.

I have tried a few cases for my new G2X phone and none have come even close to this one. I wanted something compact (I had bulky cases before and it takes away from the phone's slim design), easy to remove (I talk a lot so I change batteries), nice looking and why not cheap... Well this case is all of that. My phone looks stylish, protected and if it's time to get naked the "clothes" come off easily... :)
I rarely write a review... I like it so much I just had to write one!

Doesn't fit well and the power button slot was not cut out so it was really difficult to use. This case is made for the European LG Optimus 2X. The corner hole is for an extra feature on those phones only, and leaves the G2x's corner exposed.
I tried cutting my power button's hole out but it didn't help with the button. It also looked pretty ghetto because it wasn't machine cut.
I actually bought mine on the auction site and got several. One was the right fit for G2x. But honestly it just wasn't that nice looking for a $400 phone -- doesn't look expensive. However it looked better than some of the thick ones. The protection is also just OK (if I'm gonna go ugly, might as well get industrial strength!)
However, the one that fit is actually not bad. I just don't like this style of case. It leaves the screen unprotected so I have to use a screen protector. With the Gorilla glass you don't need it if you get a vertical flip case. They're hard to find but got one on that big auction site we all know. Ebook reading is so nice without a screen protector!
I'm going to use it as a lanyard case by cutting two wholes for a chain on the bottom -- great for photo outings. I might try to mod one for a tripod too.

Nice feel in hand
Reasonably thin
Case will not ware out
Offers slight protection but not industrial
Cool light effect on the purple and pink version
Doesn't show finger prints
No digging it out of a pouch
Thin enough to fit in a generic pouch
Lifts the screen up a little more when placed face-down on a table - less scratches.
Can change it fast if you have several colors
I'd say it's a three-star case overall, I don't like open-faced cases though so couldn't give it more.

This product is great, it arrived on time, and it fits like a glove on my phone. Another great thing is that it can fit in my phone case still, so it's not too thick but thick enough for protection. As far as taking the case protector off the phone, it can be done with ease. Very nice case for the price, and all cables fit just fine in it. The only down side is that you have to push a little hard on the power button which is not a big deal at all.
