...but some slight difficulties as well.
I got this headset from the annual Luxury Travel Council dinner in Manhattan, because I happened to be one of the lackeys setting the event up while I was temping. As you can see from the above product description, it was Motorola's goal to pull all the punches to make what can be referred to as an elegant Bluetooth headset.
The Good
The good things about this headset far outweigh the bad. It's extremely light, and fits in and around the ear perfectly (it includes three different sized rubber `buds' to put on the speaker for optimal fit, and the piece that goes around the ear is very comfortable although slightly difficult to get over the ear). Like the Samsung WEP200, once this thing is on you really don't even notice it because it's so incredibly light. Unlike the Samsung WEP200 (which has no over the ear piece and tends to slide off), the H12 is as solid as a rock (though significantly lighter) mounted on the ear. The H12 comes with two chargers: one is a desktop charger which doubles as a little stand for the Bluetooth, and the other doubles as a protective carrying case. I love that it comes with both of these things, because they're designed to do something important: keep the thing off of your head when you're not using it (one of my pet peeves is people who wear their Bluetooth 24/7, but to their credit the ear is generally the best place to store it: the H12's charger/carriers change that). Overall the whole product is very sleek and well made - every bit as elegant as the description says.
The Bad (but not really...)
When I got the Bluetooth, I paired it with my LG Fusic phone (a very easy process, the H12 had no trouble) but had some static problems. The reason that I say that this was probably not really a problem is that the first Bluetooth headset that I purchased was the Motorola H700 which also gave me static problems, so I wonder if it's just that the Fusic has trouble with Motorola Bluetooth headsets (I currently use the Samsung WEP200). I ended up giving the H12 to a friend who has the LG White Chocolate, and she says that it's worked beautifully for her. The H12's box claims that it's compatible with most brands of phone, so it should work fine with whatever you might have, unless it's a Fusic (unless it's just MY Fusic that has the problem).

The H12 is everything they claim. Lightweight, easy to work and it stays connected to my phone; a problem I had with my old Jabra headset. Overall I'm very pleased with the call quality, it's feather weight and that callers can hear me even in windy situations.

I bought this to work with my iPhone. I usually only buy noise canceling headsets, as I use these mostly when driving with the air conditioning running full blast.
So, lets start with the good. This is one of the smallest headsets I've ever seen. It comes with plenty of accessories, such as a desktop dock, and a travel dock. It fits comfortably out of the box with no need for adjustment. The clarity when running at it's peak is one of the clearest I've heard.
The downside. The build quality of this is awful. It feels like anything can break it in half, doing anything with it. Because of this, if I want to put it in my pocket, I need to put it in the travel dock, negating the purpose of it's size. If I want to put it somewhere in my car, once again, I have to put it in the travel dock. This wouldn't be such a problem, but the top to the travel dock is so tight, that when you pull the top off, the headset loses contact with the magnetic connector, causing it to fly out of the case. This isn't a one time thing. This happens every single time. The noise canceling on this device is also the worst I've ever used. I've had several people hang up on me because of their inability to understand me when driving. This is completely unacceptable for a headset that claims to have ClearTalk or whatever it is they are calling it. After less then 15 minutes of having it plugged in, and having it on the clarity of calls goes down hill. I was on the phone with AT&T making adjustments to my data plan, and had to hold my iPhone up to my head just for what she was saying to be clear at all. Beyond that, I've had the headset for a total of 9 days, and the headset is now almost instantly starts playing the low battery sound, and goes dead within 5 minutes of being unplugged. Thats not on the phone, thats simply being unplugged.
Before writing this review, I did some research on this headset, out of fear that I would be too harsh on this device. The static has been well documented in other reviews, as well as the noise canceling not being as good as expected. As far as the battery life goes, this could easily be a fluke with this one single unit.
With all of this said, this is marketed as a higher end bluetooth headset. While this maybe acceptable as a lower tier model, the constant static, and the seemingly non-existent noise canceling I can't say I'd recommend this. If you buy this, expect a beautiful, yet fragile headset, with entry level performance. I have all ready submitted my request for a refund on this.

I got my Moto H12 when I got my 755p. I was skeptical about it as I'm not a big fan of Moto products (I didnt find its boxy shape all that attractive either) and I'm partial to Jabra. Needless to say, I was surprised by this lil guy and its cute accessory gadgets. I like that you have the option to store it in its covered case and charge or simply attach it to the magnetic desktop charger. The desktop charger is the only one I've used thus far and I really like it. The unit snaps right onto it and starts charging. I don't worry about the contacts being lined up for it to connect to the strong magnetic ports as it has grabbed it perfectly each time. It's very light weight, it has adjustable earpiece covers to fit comfy in your ear AND a thin flexible optional around the ear clip that you can clamp on and use comfortably even with your glasses on. It's very comfortable for hours upon hours of wear/use. I've even forgetten I had it on! The battery life is good. I've only had it start to die on me once but I can tell you that I was on a call that lasted for hours! It's incoming call indicator ring is loud and clear enough for you to hear over loud outside noises which was a problem I had with my other earpieces and why I chose ones with vibrating alert. It has little discreet red, yellow, green charging status lights on the front to inform you of the level of charging. The volume buttons are easily accessed on the side of the unit. I like that you can power it off and on by a switch located on top if the unit instead of pressing and holding the answer button. With most headsets, when you press and hold the button too long you mistakenly go into pair mode. Speaking of pairing, it paired instantly with my Treo 755P with no problem. I haven't used its other features offered like "muting a call" because I do that from habit on my handset. The only thing that I do not care for that Moto claims this earpiece offers is noise cancelling. Nowadays, there isn't a earpiece on the market that doesn't claim to have superb noise cancelling ability. This is my sixth BT earpiece I've gotten in hopes of finally getting it only to be disappointed again. Actually, I've noticed that it seems to amplify the noises around me where I have to turn it off and just use the handset to finish my call. Maybe it's not possible to exclude noises like blowing wind from earpieces. Other than that, compared to my Jabra & Palm earpieces, this is my fav because of its ease of use & optional charging posts. By the way, BT earpieces operate differently with each phone its paired with although I would think that they would work with any phone with BT technology. With that said, its trial and error if it doesn't specifically say "recommended for use with xyz" phone model. I've only used my H12 with my 755p and I'm okay with it despite it picking up the sounds/blowing wind around me and cancelling my voice out altogether! I heard that the JawBone is the very top of the line noise cancelling earpieces currently sold. Hmmm...I'm off to read those reviews!

I would like to start out by saying this is my first bluetooth. The phone I am using it with is the Motorola Q Global (ATT). New law 7/1/08 so I was forced to get something.
My hair easily covers this headset and is completely hidden. I really like that feature. It is lightweight and when I call others they claim that the clarity is better than when I speak from cell phone. You get a really awesome carrying case which is also a charging base. The fit of this headset is also good, easy to put on with one hand and I wear glasses and it does not conflict at all.
However, the clarity for ME, especially if I am not in the car, is awful. And sometimes in the car is still not good. The volume is inadequate in the best situation.
For some reason the desk charger does not work the best. It is hard to get the headset positioned just right to be sure it is charging.
Battery life is mediocre nothing to write home about.
If Motorola fine tunes this bluetooth it stands to be the best. Looking for an new and improved version of this.
My daughter recommends that I buy the Jawbone II by Aliph, so I am going to try it also. But I am attached to the this one and hope that Motorola keeps the good the same and fixes the other issues.
