This case works. it protects the back, right, and left sides of the phone great but the top and bottom are open. the side coverage does provide a lip that will elevate the front face of the phone if it is laid face down. None of the ports are covered, but all of the holes for the speakers are in the right place, it is a hard plastic not a soft silicone feeling. I like this case because it gives my phone protection without taking away from the amazing slimness of it to much. I also have the otterbox defender for this phone, and that thing makes the phone gigantic. But it does protect it. If you get this case I would recommend a full body clear shield that will cover all six sides of the phone. I bought one on ebay called clear protector, but it was hard to put the front screen protector on, so i will probably get another one later, just for the front screen. the kick-stand is great it allows you to put it on landscape or in portrait mode and it is built into the actual case and not he clip case so you can leave the clip part at home and still have a kick-stand.

This case is great for what I was looking for, it allows the phone to maintain it's slim design which is the reason I bought it and it only adds about 1 ounce to the wait of the phone, that's important to me because I carry it in my shirt's front pocket. The kickstand on the case itself is great, allows for viewing in landscape and portrait mode just like my previous phone (EVO 4G). All the ports and the holes are in the right places and the feel on the hand is great because it's a hard plastic with a rubbery feel and nice textured design. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 star is because I wish I could buy this case without the holster and at about $10 cheaper. It's truly a minimalist design and offers the right amount of protection.

For all who are wondering, THIS IS THE SAME CASE FROM THE VERIZON WIRELESS WEBSITE (except you can get it for $20 cheaper here). It is great for protection. I love the slimness and the fact that it is reletively light. I also love the holster and buit in kickstand. The flaws are that you cannot access the SD card/SIM card slot when the phone is in the case, and IF YOU HAVE AN HD DOCK FOR THE DROID RAZR, THE PHONE WILL NOT FIT INTO THE DOCK WITH THE CASE ON AND THE ADAPTER PLATE IS STILL ON. To remove the adapter plate, simply pull on the lip of the smoky plastic shell near the top of the dock. Keep pulling on the plastic shell until it comes off (you are not breaking your dock, this is made to happen). The plastic shell you just pulled off is the adapter plate. This is necessary to fit the phone into the dock without a case. Taking the adapter plate off allows us to fit the phone into the dock with the case on. Also very important: WHEN INSTALLING THE CASE, SLIDE THE SIDE WITH THE BUTTONS INTO THE CASE FIRST, AND THEN CLICK IN THE SIDE WITH THE SD CARD/SIM CARD SLOT. This will protect the buttons from being damaged while installing the case. All-in-all, it is a very good, basic case.

I really like the textured surface of the case. Gives the already light weight phone a secure feeling while laying on my palm and fingers. Without a case, my razr felt like it was going to slip off my hand. Kickstand is great. It props the phone up horizontally or vertically. I like that the clip rotates although I don't use that function much. I find it's not an easy case to get off but I have not had a reason to remove it really. The adjustable ProClip mount in my Prius holds the Razr while in its case perfectly. I bought this at the Verizon store when I bought the phone. It was on sale for $22.49. Reg price was $29.99. This case keeps the phones slim and light feel.

I agree with the previous reviewers - Very happy with the case and holster. I had one just like it for my Droid X and knew that was what I wanted for the RAZR. The kickstand is a nice touch. I personally love the holster and use it all the time, and the fact that when its holstered the screen is facing in and protected. With the battery being non-removeable, you won't have any regular need to even remove it. I definitely like how it adds just a tiny bit of off set so you can lay your phone face down and the glass is off the surface.
