Works great for intended purposeJul 02, 2010 I needed a cheap but decent quad-band GSM phone for travel. This is has worked very well for me travelling in the Czech Republic. I just bought a Vodophone SIM card for around $10 USD when I arrived (the full amount was credited for phone usage) popped it in and it worked great. The thin size is kind of nice and the text messaging is adequate.
Comes w/ UK plugJun 11, 2010 I got a great price on a good phone and not complaining about or reviewing that. My comments and stars are for "in the box" stuff.
I'm extraordinarily bitter than this version came with the big silly UK 3 prong plug. I scoured all the documentation and couldn't find that said anything for sure. My fingers were crossed that this "international version" would come with the two prong deal used widely across Europe.
Of course, it's a universal voltage & Hz thing that only needs the physical adapter. Oddly, the packaging included an adapter for US style plugs. So they're trying. But to use in Europe will need another adapter.

It didn't say it was pre-paidMay 29, 2010 I couldn't use it because it was prepaid only. I have a regular Verizon plan.

TOUGH, DEPENDABLE, SIMPLE -- THE RAZRApr 29, 2010 Have had this phone for 2 years, works just fine. Tough? You bet! I left it on the roof of my car and drove away! (DUH) returned minutes later to find that it had been run over by a car. Still working, just fine, thank you, after I straightened the battery cover with pliers and popped it back on.

Buyer Beware!Apr 12, 2010 I bought one of these "unlocked" cell phones [Motorola RAZR, Unlocked, International Version]. They're unlocked only in the strictest sense of the word. These phones are branded - meaning they've got some carrier's logo on them - and more importantly, they've got a crippled version of the phone software.
Now, the RAZR is a very cool phone. But, it's only as good as the software that makes it actually work. The AT&T software I had would not allow you to make separate profiles, and it required you to log on to ONLY the AT&T network to get ring tones, wallpaper, etc. All fine, if you're an AT&T customer - But this completely misses the point of buying an unlocked cell phone in the first place.
I tried to fix the situation by "reflashing", i.e. putting on generic, useful software that comes with a truly "unlocked" phone (see e.g. [...]). As soon as I did that, the phone seized up, and demanded a "Subsidy Password". The phone really wasn't unlocked at all!
If you want a phone that is truly unlocked and unbranded, buy it from one of the European Amazon sites. You'll spend a little more. But you'll get what you actually want in the end.
