Doesn't Stay "Extended" LongNov 20, 2010
By J. Cole I've used this battery for two months and it started great: the battery would be at 50% after 15 hours of use (calls, texts, emails, browsing). After two months of heavy use, the battery now is down to 20%-30% after 15 hours. Save your money since I now have to carry a charger with me at all times. Soon, I will be switching to a standard battery just to lighten the weight of the phone.

Almost double the power, cleared away all my concerns for droid / milestone 2 ^_^Mar 07, 2011
By cat I spent days of reading reviews watching comparisons for android phones even though I wanted to buy a Droid 2. When I finally decided that yes, this is the phone I want, ( actually it's Motorola Milestone 2 but it's the same ) I rushed back to the shop, bought it, and... by the end of the first day I was back on forums reading up on its battery life. Actually, it's not bad compared to other phones, but compared to a netbook ( which I wanted to replace with it ) it was awful, like less than 2 hrs if I was actively doing something. I found this battery, saw that it is OFFICIAL ( if it wasn't I never would have bought it ), made up my mind and bought it. ... and I couldn't be more pleased with what I have now xD ... the phone lasts for 4 hrs with active work, ( somewhat less if on the perimeter of signal ) and it would last 2 days if I left it alone :O ... I basically could finally leave my netbook at home! The size is OK, actually it still fits the dock I have, and is even easier to hold this way :3 ... the weight is OK, at least I notice when it's not in my pocket. Holding it is not hard either. I can only recommend this battery. this was the piece that completed my droid 2, without it it'd feel lacking.

A few words on the extended battery cover.Oct 07, 2011
By Del "Rocket Scientist" Ritchie First let me say that this battery was a great enhancement to my DroidX. I've gone into the third day without charging if I don't use it too much. But even if I use it constantly, it easily makes it into the second day. What that does for you is it makes it so that there is no problem finding some time over a two day period to fully charge it again. It's almost as if charging has become a non-issue now. This was a very serious upgrade for me.
Now on to the extended cover. Before I bought this I read a bunch of reviews here and on other websites about the pros and cons of the extended cover. For instance, the Trident Kraken won't close with the extended cover on. I also read that the regular cover still fits. I even called Verizon and one of the Tech Support people told me he's been using his with the original cover for months. I tried the original cover and it snapped right on. A little tight maybe, but seemed ok. I thought, "no big deal", especially in light of what the Verizon guy said.
I've been using it like that for a couple of months. Well recently I started to notice a "hole" in the display when I touched it with a little extra pressure. Not much pressure though. It was as if it was an Etch-a-Sketch where you would see the shadow of a dark hole on a bright screen. You would only notice it on a white screen.
I thought I remembered someone writing that there might be screen issues with the extended battery squeezed in by the original cover, so I decided to go back to the extended cover and a rubber sleeve so that there's no excess pressure, and the "hole" immediately went away.
So, what does that mean? To me, it means that the screen was being forced from the rear with excessive force due to the battery being squeezed in by the original cover. I'm going to keep using the extended cover. If it breaks (like some have complained), I'll get another one. The engineers obviously made the extended cover for a reason.

Fits better than i thoughtJul 08, 2011
By Mary Jones Fits so well that my hard plastic case still fits, regardless of the BP7's bigger battery. Everything seems to be working good. Doesnt add that much extra weight to the phone either.
