Lousy battery won't last a day!Oct 12, 2009
By L. J. Hoeflich Bought for my wife to replace her last nokia bh900 with similar ear design because of depleted battery after 2 hrs of daily use. This new headset won't even creep through a day of light use - terrible battery and using the old one again!

Not as good as my old HS-11WOct 09, 2009
By The Grumpy Hacker I previously had a Nokia HS-11W which looks similar and has a similar "ambidextrous" ear fit. It developed a crack and the rubber part that holds it on the ear would easily separate from the main unit. So, I saw this and figured it should fit just as well--maybe better since the speaker actually fits into your ear a little. Unfortunately while the rubber part on this one looks similar to the HS-11W, it's not the same at all and is very loose by comparison. In fact, the only way I can use this headset at all is by tucking one of the rubber "prongs" behind the arms of eye/sun glasses.
As long as I do that it fits/feels fine (but still sounds too quiet even with the volume maxed). But if I don't take the time to tuck it behind my glasses it fits very, very loose and sounds even quieter. Fortunately no one on the other end has ever said they can't hear me well, and I've never had a problem with pairing this with my phone or laptop. If you have really big ears and, like me, don't like the in-ear style headsets, maybe this will work for you. Or perhaps the BH-900 (Nokia BH-900 Bluetooth Headset) or BH-904 (New OEM Nokia Black Bluetooth Wireless Headset BH-904) fit differently?
Only one other minor complaint. My old HS-11W would stay on until I turned it off. So if I left it in the car, the next time I got in it paired with my phone and was ready to go. This unit seems to turn itself off after a certain amount of time. Overnight, for example. So when I get in the car the next morning, I have to turn it on to be able to use it. It's a little annoying but I guess it makes the battery seem to last longer.

Very good headsetMar 12, 2009

What can i say? its nokia... the headset (BH-212) is stylish, light and crystal clear. the one thing that stands out for me with this headset is that, the way its designed allows me to use it on both ears. some head sets can only be worn on either right or left ear but this headset demolishes that limitation.
i recommend this headset for folks who want something stylish, light and slick and who dont want to lose out on sound quality. callers will hear you well. i have never had a problem with those who call. they hear me fine and speaking to them is not a problem either.
great buy.

It is a fine product but it seems like with my iPhone it is not working so very well. My husband has one and it often disconnect from the phone.
