Replacements better... but not by much.Sep 01, 2011
By PB I ordered two (2) replacement cell phone batteries from "WIRELESS UNLIMITED" on Amazon Marketplace in early August, and received them within the time frame noted by the Seller. The batteries were advertised as "NEW", and even though the price was quite low, I was very surprised and quite disappointed by their poor condition when they arrived in the mail. Both had obvious scratches from many times of removal from and reinstallation into a cell phone. One of them also had a very deep gouge in its cover at the removal point, appearing to have been pried from a phone with some sort of metal tool (screwdriver??). After seeing all of this, I was quite reluctant to use either of them, fearing possible damage to my phone. I left "feedback" for the Seller a few days later, which appears below, along with an immediate response from the Seller:
1 out of 5: "Definitely USED merchandise... not NEW as described by Seller. I will not be using these batteries!" Date: August 23, 2011 Rated by Buyer: PB
Seller Response: "Buyer was sent wrong item by mistake, offered reship or refund." Date: August 23, 2011
Within a couple of hours, I had received an e-mail from one of the company co-owners, followed shortly by a phone call from the other co-owner. Both apologized for the condition of the batteries and offered either replacements or a refund... my choice. I told the one who had contacted me via phone that I preferred replacement batteries over a refund, but that I wanted and expected NEW ones this time, not units that had obviously been as well-used as the first pair I had received. He then explained to me the process they use for obtaining these "NEW" batteries. These are the batteries that were in the phones when they were returned by customers to one of the many wireless phone stores, due to some sort of problem or dissatisfaction with the phone. They are actually USED PHONES, so how can the batteries be sold as "NEW"?!
Both co-owners, in their separate contacts with me, requested also that I remove the NEGATIVE FEEDBACK. The man who contacted me on the phone made the request multiple times, and said to please remove it tonight... so I wouldn't forget. NO PRESSURE HERE!! Well... I didn't remove the feedback, because, even though I was told I would be sent satisfactory replacements for the original order, having not seen them yet, I did not know what to expect! I also did not know if I would have the opportunity to leave feedback for the replacements if I removed the original feedback. Many grey areas here!!
That finally brings us to the reason for writing this "Review". The replacement batteries arrived today... one appears to be in pretty good shape. It has minimal scratches on it and has no gouges. The other one appears to be about the same as the "better" of the original pair. It is pretty scratched-up and has a small tool-gouge at the removal point on the cover. Neither is a NEW battery, which was the reason for the original negative feedback and the addition of this product review. If "Wireless Unlimited" advertises and sells a product as "NEW", it should be just that... NEW. Not any of the cell phone batteries sent to me was NEW. How can they do this, AMAZON?
In closing, I would just like to add that this is my first negative experience with ANY of the Sellers I have bought from on The Amazon Marketplace. It reminds me of the old saying: "If it sounds too good to be true..." well, I'm sure you know the rest!!
Jeff and Jordan... Please be advised: I don't want any more of your NEW batteries and I don't want a refund. I have learned a valuable lesson here, and that is all I want to take from this experience. I don't understand how you manage to stay in business... especially with all of the honest and reputable vendors that sell their QUALITY MERCHANDISE here. Please do not send me any e-mails or call me again. As far as I'm concerned, this transaction has ended... NEGATIVELY.
Sincerely, PB Amazon Customer

handy little item...Dec 28, 2011
By Javaunae93 My phone was continuously losing a charge. To the point where i had to bring my charger to work and keep the phone plugged in to get through the day. I knew what the problem was, but hoped I could find a cheap battery replacement around town. Unfortunately, that was not possible and the Verizon store was insane if they believe I would pay that much for something I knew I could get a reasonable price. So as usual, I ended up at Amazon. Ordered the item at a reasonable price. It arrived within the correct timeframe. I do wish there was a way to track it. I tried and each time the tracking number had no information. Otherwise, product works great, it looked new and I was satisfied.

MehDec 20, 2011
By Pandora33 Better than the battery I had (LG Ally), but not by much. Quickly devolved and couldn't hold as much charge.
Bottom line: better than what I had, but I wouldn't recommend this to a friend.

Battery not completely compatible with phoneNov 29, 2011
By golfer The battery is not completely compatible with the phone. It does provide power but the phone complains. Get an EXACT matching battery, which I did after purchasing this one. The cost was not much greater and the phone liked it.

Great dealOct 25, 2011
By BosLG I tried to get a replacement battery through another on-line site and it took them a week to send me a used battery that didn't work with my phone. This site sent me my replacement battery right away. It was brand new and works great. They sent exactly what was advertised at an incredible price.
