 Good battery if you only want to use it for 2 months...Apr 11, 2010

This battery was bought for me as a Christmas present. It appears to be the exact same battery as the original, hologram and all. It worked pretty good for a couple of months (most of that time i was switching back and forth with the new battery and original). After which it seemed like it wasn't holding a charge as long as it should. Now for the past month it barely holds a charge for 48 hours. Most of that time is just standby time. The maddening thing is that the battery meter will show a full charge, then after one or two short conversations, it is almost dead. Sometimes just sending a text or two will give the same effect. The original battery that is over 1.5 years old holds a better charge than this one does now. I must recommend that you pass on this battery. Unless you only need it for a couple of months.

The product was shipped in a timely manner.
The product was as advertised.
The product was a good price.
The product was in sealed packaging.
The problem with the product was the date of manufacture. The date codes look to be 2008 and 2007. This limits the batteries ability to store energy in 2010.
Since I was using these batteries to extend the life of my Motorola V9M phone until June of 2010 the limitations are acceptable for the price paid.
If batteries are critical some method should be found by the purchaser to confirm manufacturing date.

Not sure how they can sell these so cheap, it works better than the same battery that came with my new 2V9x. There is some mystery behind this phone and AT&T Wireless as it no longer appears for sale on their web site.

battery has the same short
span as original....
never had a motorola with such a low battery
talk time...
