Plantronics 925 BluetoothMar 08, 2010
I love that it has its own small case and that it even can charge my 925. The sound is excellent coming in and I'm told people hear me clearly with the background noise filtered out so that also is fabulous. My only holdout for the 5th star is the fit of the earpieces. The midsize is the best for me to use but it causes either ear pain. The small size is a bit more comfortable but has fallen out at inopportune moments and places. Overall this is tons better than the previous 4 bluetooth brands I have used! I'd buy it again and again.

I have had many earpieces in the past for my cell phones but this Plantronics Discovery 925 Bluetooth is the best by far product on the market today. It is very reasonable priced for what it offers. The product comes with 3 different size earpieces so that you can get a secure fit in your ear. It holds a charge a long time with its portable charger included. I am extremely happy that I purchased this product.

A few things to note:
Pro:
- Callers have no problem hearing me
- Audio is excellent on my end
- Multiple charging options. Charge in the case, directly on the outlet, in the case on the outlet, etc.
- Has a nice, easy button. On some other headsets, you have to really jam the button to answer/end calls. This one isn't like that.
- Headset is easy to remove and put back in. This is important to me, since I rarely like leaving them in all day.
- Very lightweight, even with the case.
- This is definitely subjective, but I like the styling of this headset better than most.
Cons:
- The case is a bit larger than I'd like it to be. Ideally, it would fit comfortably in my pocket. It is just too square. If it could be flatter, that'd be great.
- The performance with any wind is greatly hampered.
Other:
- The fit. I tried the different adapters. The large one hurts my ear after about 20 minutes of use. The medium one feels a bit loose (although, it generally stays put unless I am running or eating or something).
Overall:
I'd definitely recommend this headset. It has the right combination of bang/buck. Not quite a 5 star, but I think you are going to be spending more than $100 for that.
Retail vs BulkMar 02, 2010
First and foremost, there are already perfectly accurate reviews of this product. Personally, I give the retail version of the 925 5 stars. I am on my second retail version; 100% satisfied.
Now, I left my first 925 at a restaurant (to the new owner, whomever you are, enjoy it; it rocks!). I replaced it with the bulk version (plain white packaging, only the medium sized ear piece). The transmission quality on every call I made was horrible! I was told it sounded like I was on a speaker phone standing across the room from it. It could have just been a bad headset or a bad lot. Either way, I was able to return it hassle free.
I received my replacement (full retail packaging) and have the correct ear piece for my huge ears :) and it sounds great out of the box!
Some say it is pricy. If you do not mind paying a few extra bucks for high quality sound, then not having one bad call pays for itself in frustration. Well worth it.

Easy set up and comfortable to wear. Having the charging case is pretty convenient.
