Order Both the Headset and the CableJul 01, 2009
By J. Kucera As long as you order both the headset and the quick disconnect cable, you will have a great product. If you just order the headset, it won't work at all. Cable + Headset = Really Good Headset. (*See below for more explanation on this).
The headset is lightweight, comfortable, and with a great sound quality. There are days when I am on a series of conference calls and I wear it all day. You can flip it around to wear it on either ear.
I used to have a less expensive ($10~) Panasonic headset that was excellent but not so durable--the part where the cord connects to the phone would tend to get loose (or something happened in the mysterious inner workings) and the headset would make a static noise if I moved the phone at all--I had to keep the phone perfectly still. I decided it was time for an upgrade.
I've only had this headset for 6 weeks but it seems to be holding up well. It's built more durably and I don't think it will suffer the fate that the Panasonic did. I can't really comment on the noise canceling feature because I work in a quiet location. I would recommend this headset for anyone who needs a hard-working, easy-wearing, quality-sounding headset and is willing to pay the extra that will cost.
UPDATE: I can comment on the noise canceling feature because I've moved to a large apartment complex that frequently has loud noises outside my apartment. I can hear the noises but the people I'm speaking with on the phone cannot which is a very a good thing. For example, the other day there was construction on the roof directly above me that was so loud it made it difficult for me to concentrate, but the person on the phone could hear only me. Finally, the headset is extremely durable. I've now been wearing it daily for 2+ years and it's still going strong. If it broke I would buy it all over again but I don't think it's going to break anytime soon.
*The headset is really only half of the product, the quick disconnect cord is the other. Think of it like shoes with shoelaces--you need both parts for the shoes to stay on your feet. In this case, you need both parts to connect the sound from the phone to your ears. The headset goes to your ears but doesn't connect to the phone. The quick disconnect cord goes from your phone to the headset.

It Works WellMar 28, 2008
By Jack Puglis This noise cancelling headset lives up to it's promise. Occasionally, people outside my office who are having a conversation inadvertently grow loud. In the past, people who I'm speaking with on the telephone have commented that they could hear the voices. That does not happen with this noise cancelling headset. Callers also cannot hear my radio, and tell me that my voice is clear.

Lightweight, clear reception, good noice canceling headsetJan 04, 2007
By Waldo Great headset. I use it on the Cisco 7940 IP phone and it pairs well. Just need to make sure you also have the quick-disconnect cord.

Bought based on favorable reviews and we wanted to try a lighter weight headset. So far, we have had no problems and the unit is well liked by our Receptionist. I definitely plan to buy more.

Excellent headsetMar 25, 2009

This headset is the best. It is not bunky or big. The sound is excellent. I will always use this product. It can easily fit in your handbag or pocket. This beats holding your cell next to your ear while driving or writing. I would highly recommend this product. I brought two, for furture use.
