 Half capacity faded battery saleJul 27, 2010
My fiancée owns an 8320 and complained to me that this battery charges in under an hour and lasts for only half to a third of the day before completely drained. When I saw how much the price was listed as I knew something was awry. No rechargeable battery I've ever bought for my equipment was ever under $5.
The low low price of this battery must have a reason behind it. I metered the a discharge of this battery from full charge to near full discharge and pulled 430 mAh from it. Thats just under half of the posted 900 mAh rating. I'm guessing either the battery is not OEM and a very good looking clone or it is aged by sitting on a shelf and the capacity has diminished. I'm leaning more towards the age of battery on shelf caused its current lower capacity, thus the sale price. 3 stars because it is still a battery and does as designed with a limited capacity and kudos for not exploding :).

Gives me half the battery life than that of the original battery that came with the phone (1 day compared to 2 for about the same amount of use). However, I'd say its ok for $5...the original costs $50 (as of now) on [...]

Received an obvious counterfeit. Printed label was blurry and low quality, the battery weighed nothing compared to the original one, and it holds a charge for less than an hour, even after several charging cycles.
Save your money up for a genuine Blackberry brand one from a retail store instead, a phone that lasts only 45 minutes is worthless.

Did not work with my Blackberry 8320 CurveJul 19, 2010
My phone did not recognize this battery and displayed the "bad battery" icon. Cleaning the contacts on the phone and battery did not correct this. I am returning it.

The battery is NOT OEM and does NOT work like an OEM. Ever since installing it the phone intermittently power cycles and is so frustrating. Do NOT buy.
