I guess you get what you pay for. It fits and does protect the phone from scratches. The screen and camera are protected by being recessed. The extra size feels fine except for typing it gets a little close to the top row of keys. The top part of the case is problematic the way it clips to the phone. The clips are not very durable, and the added thickness causes the two halves to rub when slid. The "rubber feel" texture very quickly scuffs. Overall, not worth it.

Got this cover last week. Installed easily & fits well on my LG Optimus Slider, for Virgin Mobile. Good price. Prompt arrival. Arrived ahead of my phone even with standard shipping.
This can't do much to protect the screen from scratches, naturally. But it does cover all corners & edges, and is firm and solid material. So seems like it would help prevent damage due to dropping the phone. That's what I wanted. Good access to all buttons, connectors, camera lens, speakers, mic, without having to remove any cover pieces. Not much added bulk; it's a close-fitting design.
Cover has just a little texture, enough to help a bit with grip. It's not plush & rubbery or anything. The texture is pretty much the same as the phone already had.
The cover does add a little resistance when sliding out the keyboard, where there was no resistance before. But I think that's unavoidable due to the tight clearances between parts on my brand new phone. It doesn't cause me any trouble at all, and I expect it might go away when my phone loosens up after a month or two of use.

I bought this item under a month ago and it already broke. Do not buy this unless you really don't use your phone because with normal use it broke. Will not buy again nor recommend to anyone.

Do not buy this. It arrived with a crack, doesn't work with the advertised phone (Optimus Q), and is POORLY made overall. It is crap, use your money elsewhere.
