Good sound and fit, mic isn't greatApr 17, 2011
By Sushi Shibata I got these just because I've played with a Samsung Galaxy phone and the Tab, and they're AWESOME. This headset, not up to expectations, unfortunately.
Now, I think these have good sound quality. I'm not a snob when it comes to headsets because I know that all these cheap ones generally don't sound great anyway. So my complaint isn't about the headphone part; they sound just fine and fit in my ears with the proper earbuds (included).
The disappointing part is that the mic on my headset sounded a little muffled. Seems to be a common problem with headsets in general -- I've bought other headsets by Motorola that also sound muffled and attenuated. Anyway, in a completely quiet room, callers on the other end couldn't hear my voice clearly on the headset mic but could hear fine on the phone's mic.
So I ended up using this for calls only in the car; but otherwise I just used it as headphones.

great buds, especially for the moneyJan 14, 2011
By Richard Sarno I know they sell buds which are over $100. I have never had any of them. But i have owned a ton of smartphones and i live with buds in my ears.
These are more durable and last longer than the ones that came with my iphone, and also with my blackberry.
The wire is slightly thicker, and protects itself from wires breaking inside the cord

Great Replacement Samsung Headset At A High Low PriceJan 13, 2011
By Keith VanErk There isn't a whole lot to be said in this review. I'm a happy owner of a Samsung Epic 4G with Sprint. My love affair with this smart phone went on smooth & nice until it got tragically disrupted by the loss of my Headset. My wallet was already drained: I spent quit a serious sum buying my smart phone, its protective cover, & screen protectors. But I needed the headset to listen to my music & watch movies without disturbing the peace of my surrounding. I did a quick online search for a replacement headset. I wanted it to be priced decently low, match my device (be compatible with) & to blend in just like original. Samsung Galaxy S 3.5mm Hands Free Headset - Black Original (OEM) was the answer!
So here is how I perceive my new Samsung Galaxy S 3.5mm Hands-Free Headset Original(OEM): It looks exactly like, & functions exactly the same as the original headset I got with my phone. The price is less than 10 bucks & it ships FREE. I ordered it from IBD Electronics & got it within 5 days. I have no reason to complain! It's a perfect Samsung S. Replacement Headset. I think of it as an original spare part with an unbeatable price!
PS: It comes in a plastic bag in a small bubble envelope with 3 pairs of very soft gel ear tips (Small, Medium & Large).
Now you know it all. Go shop with confidence!

better or equal to sennheisers.May 24, 2011
By Ary! ive owned quite the amount of high end in ear monitors/headphones and well.... these cheap headphones that came with my samsung vibrant are among the top. some would say its a ridiculous claim but its true... my shure headphones are not as good as these and those are a few hundred dollars but these compare to the quality of the sennheiser cx-300's, they have amazing bass and great kick, youll hear some sounds youve never heard before in your music, the microphones quality is crystal clear, theres a good length on the cord and you can answer/start/pause/stop/end calls and music with the button./ these also work on the iPod touch (the quality sounds amazing on iPods if you have the treble boost setting on (best setting there is)and yes it also works on the iPhone)
overall i recommend these over most headsets, earbuds. i bought some creative earbuds after these thinking theyd be better but they suck. so in my opinion it goes Sennheiser cx-300's > these > Shure se series.

You get what you pay forOct 27, 2011

For me in the ear earbuds always were more comfortable than the apple earbuds. I know other folks say exactly the opposite, but this is my review. ;)
Pros: In the ear earbuds, decent sound, decent noise reduction decent comfort, microphone on the earbuds so you don't have take them out when listening to music and a call comes in.
Cons: Decent sound, decent noise reduction, decent comfort, no volume up or down keys
Just as the title says, you get what you pay for. These earbuds do not excel in any category, but are a good value overall. The only thing worth mentioning is that if your ear canals are either very large or very small you won't be happy since these earbuds only come with the suppied (medium size) plastic inserts.
Are they worth the money? Yes
