I had this phone for 4 years previously until the battery was so used it would no longer charge. When I wanted to get a new one, ATT had discontinued this model. Well lo and behold, AMAZON had it. I got it brand new in the casing with all the packaging. Very satisfied. I would have gotten 2 but only one was left!

Love This phone!!!!! Very user friendly, small and compact. This is a great cell for seniors, ring is loud enough to hear.

This phone stopped working about 27 days after I received it. It wouldn't charge. The same thing happened to the one I was replacing, but that one lasted 4 years. Yellow Deals wouldn't make an exception to the rule of no returns after 30 days from sale date, not the delivery date, so after a lot of trouble I was able to send the phone into Samsung for an in warrantee repair.After about 6 weeks, Samsung returned the repaired phone. Of course, I had to purchase another phone to use in the meantime, so I am out the extra money, and am sitting with an extra phone. Want to buy an A437?

Samsung Refurbished phones have NO WARRANTY despite what they claim.Mar 30, 2010

Samsung Refurbished phones come with a 3 month warranty but they do not honor it. I bought a Samsung cell phone for my daughter and the screen stopped working within 3 days. Unfortunately we didn't read the fine print and due to traveling and other issues we sent the phone back 1 month later...since we had a 3 month warranty we figured that would be fine. But once they got the phone they claimed that the phone had been obviously damaged with a dent or something. We figured maybe it had gotten damaged in the shipping...but no, when we refused to pay them to fix it (even though it was under warranty!) they sent us the unfixed phone back...and there was not a scratch, let alone a dent. I can't believe they can get away with this kind of garbage!!! Don't trust a Samsung warranty! I'll be reporting this to the BBB! The phone is pretty, but who needs a pretty phone that is crap?
