It embodies a range of technology that’s every bit as up-to-the- minute as its beautiful exterior. Here's the latest contender in the race to build the thinnest, most stylish phone on the planet. In fact, the Samsung t509 is one of the skinniest phones money can buy, measuring just .39 inches thick, or 10 millimeters. Amazingly, this phone also happens to pack a lot of features into its svelte frame, including Bluetooth, a VGA camera, support for EDGE high speed data, a speakerphone, and more. Design One look at this phone and you'll wonder where the phone went. The design is simple, refined, and--once again--thin. The numeric keypad resides below a circular five-way control toggle that controls most of the phone's menus and functions. The large, 176 x 220 display supports up to 65,000 colors, while 10.5 MB of internal memory gives you plenty of room for pictures, contacts, | | | Product Details: | | | Product Length:

Good phone for a reasonable priceFeb 08, 2009

I bought this phone new on Ebay about a year ago, for $50.
Overall I did not have any problems with it; dropped it numerous times and still worked great. It is super thin, and easy to use.
The speaker is pretty loud and very convenient, but the normal sound is rather low; I had a hard time hearing people.
Can store up to 200 messages (which was great for me, because I text a lot, so could go days without having to erase messages) and a lot of pictures and sounds, although it only allows you to use mid and mmf as ringtones. One more drawback is that it does not allow you to add words to the dictionary.
Unfortunately I have to part with it because the charging port stopped working, so I cannot charge it anymore. It would cost me $40 to fix, but I think I would rather add a bit more money and get a new one.

My charging port also quit working on this phone, after about 2 years' of light to medium use.

The phone is satisfying to me. The main thing I worried about is that it had to be an unlocked phone and it is.

It really support any simcardJun 04, 2010
By Dario Raudales I bought this cellphone to use with many sim cards from different cell phones provider, like AT&T, Verizon, Sprint etc... I even use the phone with a sim card from outside the country. Plus the phone is really nice, easy to use, small and a reasonable price, I like it so much.
