Not "Dry" as advertised. No opening for buttons.Mar 06, 2012

I picked up this Skinomi screen protector after my wife and I got new phones. I've had other protectors before that feel like pieces of transparency film. This one is thicker, and is very flexible.
Contrary to the item title and description, the protector I received (while dry itself) requires wet hands to install it correctly. In addition, it does not have the pictured cutout for the buttons on the Lumia 710. I had to cut that out myself, after it was on the device.
I also have a few bubble that were supposed to disappear after a few days. Most did. A few didn't. Those few appear to have bits of dust or dirt behind them, however. I must have contaminated the surface after I cleaned it with a microfiber cleaning cloth.
As to the job it was supposed to do, protecting the screen, it does it quite well. It has no effect on the sensitivity of the touchscreen, and I like the fact that it is a bit thicker. It has picked up a few scratches already, but it seems they are less visible when using the device than were scratches on the harder screen protectors I had used on other devices.
Would I recommend it? Not specifically, but I wouldn't advise against it, either. Just be aware of what you're getting--a soft protector that requires wet hands for installation and has no cutout for the Lumia's buttons.
