The Kickin Cool Case from Plaidville!Jan 30, 2009
By B. Pierce Man, to give a first impression, I dig this case. I knew I was a rough person, but having already dropped the iPhone three times and my case having saved it everytime, Im glad I spent the money on it. I went with this case for two reasons, mainly, the sick design; secondly, size and "protectiveness" of the case. This case seemed to have a bit more bulk to it, and would help me in the long run keep my investment in one piece. So Far, Flying colors!
On to some small dislikes. Again, the bulkiness, this case is certainly bigger than most and you can tell, in your pocket, in your hand and even against your ear. The lip is right where I would have the iPhone against my ear, so, it will dig in if I am on a long call.
Another dislike, is the material the case is made of. When it bounces around in your pocket, the little fuzzies from the case will come off and get all over the screen. Now, you can just wipe them off, not a huge deal, but one worth mentioning.
So, as you can see, I love this case. I have had some small issues, but none that would make me get a different case as this one has certainly proved its worth!

Classy and functionalJan 09, 2009
By K. McMullen I am very indecisive and checked out a lot of cases before I bought this one and a month after receiving it, I'm glad I did.
This case fits over the iPhone 3G perfectly with easy access to all the buttons and plugs. It's easy to assemble, and does not just fall off easily. I like that it is fitted cloth over a hard shell because it does not get stuck in my pocket or purse as I am sure the silicone covers would, and it's not too bulky. Plus, I get a lot of positive comments on the unique design.
I'm usually not too clumsy with expensive electronic devices, but I did drop my phone once onto pavement from about 4 feet off the ground. Luckily, it was after I bought this case; my iPhone was perfectly intact without a dent or scratch and while the case itself had become slightly unhinged, it was not broken or damaged at all and I just snapped it back into place.
The only con I can think of is that a protective screen cover is not also included with this packaging. Other than that, the product itself is great!

Cheap MaterialSep 11, 2009

I bought this case off of Amazon because it was $10 dollars cheaper than on the Apple website (where is was priced for a whooping $30). Online all the pictures make this case look very nice and durable and for $20 or $30 dollars I expected it to be. Unfortunately, when I went to put this case on my iPhone (3GS), the case itself seemed to have been made with very cheap materials. The exterior covering is simply fabric glued to plastic and has a very rough textured feeling.
My suggestion, go with the iFrogz cases, they fit like a glove and have great protection from dropping. I dropped my case 3 times on concrete (I know, I am a klutz), but my iPhone was perfectly fine! No harm done to my iPhone and the case stayed on & intact. I got an iFrogz case on Amazon for just $10!! And let me tell you, this is one of the best cases you can buy for the money.
Other quality cases that my friends have are the Griffin cases, these tend to be a little more expensive, but they fit very well and are a slightly higher quality than the iFrogz cases. Either way, the iFrogz case I mentioned before or any of the Griffin cases are a far better buy then this Speck case!
Hope this helps..!

Stylish and FunctionalAug 03, 2009

I love this case! It certainly stands out from the crowd with it's unique pattern. While it may seem a tad bit bulkier than the other 'skin' type cases but it certainly seems to be sturdier. I think this will offer more protection in the event of a fall. On the whole it is a definite winner. Very easy to put on and take off too. It certainly makes my phone stand out from the more common 'mono-toned' cases. I have also received a lot of compliments on it, from guys and gals alike.

Great BuyJun 15, 2009
By Dyllan Lemay This case is great. It has held together very well since I have dropped my iPhone a good three or four times since I got it. It is also very stylish and I have gotten numerous compliments on it. I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a stylish case that also helps to protect your phone.
