 Used Batteries- BEWARE!!Aug 09, 2011

The two batteries I ordered were supposed to be the same model but wound up having two different model numbers, so not exactly what I had ordered. Also, the batteries both had scuffs on the gold contact points where they connect to the phone, indicating that they had already been used. Furthermore, one of the batteries must have been through many charge cycles, as it lasts about half as long as my OEM battery that has had 100+ charge cycles.

So, I bought this battery for under $10. Yes, that's right under $10. It came fully charged and has held more battery power than my stock. This could more or less be a placebo effect, but for an HTC factory battery to cost a fraction of the price of what Verizon or HTC charge, its a must buy. Any Thunderbolt owner knows that battery power is a luxury on this this phone and to be able to find this battery so cheap is an opportunity that cannot be passed up. Five star buy....!!!!!

This battery is not new. It should not be selling a battery as a new battery no matter how much it cost.

having a spare battery is a necessity for my power-sucking Thunderbolt. i tried the extended battery and that just made my phone ridiculously heavy and bulky, and having 2 batteries still provides more juice than the extended battery. i purchased a battery charger to go with this so i can charge my phone while charging the spare battery at the same time. now instead of worrying about being stuck somewhere without access to a charger, i can just swap batteries and keep on keeping on.

This is exactly the same as the battery that came with my Thunderbolt. I am totally happy I got it, and the price seems very reasonable. No more running out of juice on the road!
