Description:

Ten One Design's Pogo Sketch Stylus Pen (Silver) for Apple iPhone 3G, iPhone 3Gs, 4G, iPad, iPod Touch 2nd Gen and Blackberry 9100 9500, 9530 Strom, 9550 Strom2, 9630 9650 Tour, 9700 Bold, Motorola Droid A855, Droid x

Superbly designed using a light-weight aluminum alloy and detailed graphics, the Pogo Sketch features a look that's hard to ignore.

The soft tip glides easily over the surface of your trackpad or display, making it fun and easy to sketch, draw characters, or just slide to unlock. Sized for comfort, it does away with inaccuracies common to fingertip-only use.

Turn your MacBook trackpad into a pen tablet for premium drawing programs! The new multi-touch trackpads allow the Pogo Sketch to control your favorite drawing programs (like, say Scribbles).

Wear gloves in the winter? We do. With an iPhone, the stylus allows you to answer calls and surf the web all while keeping your hands toasty.

Longer nails can be a problem with touchscreen devices. Using your Pogo Sketch, you'll soon find that problem is history!

Lastly, the cool, glossy Pogo Sketch pocket clip will keep your stylus close by, wherever you are.

Features:

High-gloss curved pocket clip keeps the stylus handy

Works with PhatNotes for iPhone. Write or take note in your handwriting

Allows you to use your touchscreen device or multi-touch trackpad at a natural drawing angle

Typing on a software keyboard (especially at first) is much easier with a stylus

Sleek aluminum design with detailed graphics - Works with any combination of gloves and nails

4Not badDec 31, 2009

It took awhile to get the hang of it. At first, I didn't have a screen protector and even without one, there is a slight delay before the iPhone recognizes it and you can use it. Only had it for a month and no problems, though I worry about the longevity of the tip which is a thick, spongee substance. I used it for note taking mostly as my phone is predominately for business use and it worked well. Even though the tip is still smaller than most of our own fingertips, my wish is that it could still be made smaller to better use these applications. Also, I recently bought an otterbox case and the stylus will not work at all through their screen protector on their case.

1Don't take a chance this will work well on iPadApr 07, 2010
By Brian Smith
I saw this written up in a blog and thought it would be a great idea for when I'm using my iPad at work and need more precision than my finger. My iPad is very sensitive to contact when using my finger...the lightest touch is received. Using the Pogo Sketch I had to press very hard for it to register at all and even then the response was "sketchy". Having to press hard also crushes the sponge tip making it questionable as to longevity and as to safety for my iPad's screen.

I'm sure it works fine for the products listed, and to be fair, they don't list the iPad as a supported product. Don't make the same mistake I did and take the chance for the iPad.

1Be careful- it scratched my new ipadMay 17, 2010
By Paul A. Duncan "doonkin"
The promise was too much I guess. I have protective shield on iPad which possibly hurts the sensitivity somewhat ( though I have used it on an unshielded iPhone - same response. The problem is that the foam tip gets smused so much cos your adding extra pressure that the sharp aluminum casing scratches. I was just about to pull the shield off my iPad ( I really need a pen for paint programs)- when scrrraaatcch. Big score on the vinyl- lucky I didn't, n scratch the glass. You have to hold it at exactly vertical too or it won't register. Also don't think you can scribble away in penultimate app. I found my fingers better. I'm sad - cos if this is the best - then my dream of using my iPad as an art medium is up in smoke.

Come on wacom - show them all how it's done - bring out an iPad pen.

1Socks are betterNov 24, 2010

Well i've bought the pogo pen and I found it a big disappointment, you just need to apply too much force. When drawing or coloring for more than 5 minutes your wrists get tired. After searching for a while I found an alternative in a small shop at Etsy..it doesn't look as good as the Pogo Pen, but what a difference in use. The Stylus Socks II slides over your touch screen with hardly any resistance. It works great and it costs less. It got some great comments from a professional designer too. Look for Shapedad and Stylus Socks to check for yourself.
