Its Great!!!May 08, 2011
By ChrissyDee I have the extended life battery for my phone and it was able to charge it without any problems. The company also sent out my item very quickly

Does not work with Extended batteriesAug 20, 2011
By Fezatron The charger does not work with batteries thicker than the OEM battery. The charger only accepts the battery in backwards (180 out from how it is installed in the phone, like flipping a card). Extended batteries are generally twice as thick, so when you go to fit the extended battery in this charger, the battery leads do not mate with the charger prongs. Kind of a bummer considering I bought this unit to charge extended batteries.

Probably not worth your time...Dec 06, 2011
By M. McMahon So you own an Evo - that beautiful battery draining beast. And in your quest to feed the phone's insatiable desire for power - you've come across this little number here. Hmm... lots of 5 star reviews, and it is cheap. If you have prime, it is probably already in your cart. Heck, you'd be foolish not to, right?
Well, I wish you luck, my friend. It seems like most products at this price point, it will come down to the luck of the draw. So the first time I used the battery charger, it worked! The second time - it did not. The battery doesn't actually fit, on either side actually. I started reading the reviews to see if anyone else had an issue. And issues they had. I saw a "paper clip" trick mentioned. So after using a paper clip to pull out the contacts a bit, and a folded menu for a lunch place to keep the battery in place, it is now charging again.
For how long? I don't know, I've already ordered a different charging cable. I don't want to have to live out my MacGyver fantasies every time my battery runs low at work. You probably don't either, but it is so cheap - maybe you'll get a good one? Just don't put yourself in a position to have to count on this as the only way to charge your battery.

Don't waste your timeNov 30, 2011
By Peter Z I had the same bad experience as others. The prongs on the charger don't extend far enough to charge a battery. I tried the paper-wedge trick mentioned elsewhere but that only worked once. Don't waste your time with this product. It's defective. This seller probably got a great deal (for pennies) on them and figures he can make money even if most are returned.

Works but SLOW!Sep 15, 2011
By esfan_adam Product delivered just as pictured. This does indeed work for both regular and extended batteries. Only issue I have is the time it takes to recharge a battery. I would say it takes somewhere between 2-3X longer than charging it through the phone. I would definitely conseider paying more for a charger which charged more quickly.
