I would recommend this case to those who have extended battery for EVO 4G. I shattered my phone because I didn't have a case and so I am glad I came across this case. I also like that you can change the silicone. :)

This case is fantastic! I have been using it for about a week now, although i am using a 3500 battery not the one that came with the case. (it is the same physical size as the other battery It has the silicone outer rim, and the actual plastic case is clear, and covers the screen. You can still effectively use the kick stand with the phone. I would recommend this case to everyone with an EVO. you can also purchase different color skins (the silicone outer rim) for a different look!
Also the seller got it to me 2 days earlier that was scheduled which was a very welcome supprise!

This unit is great, giving me access to the camera and the kickstand as opposed to the OtterBox I had been using (plastic kickstand? Yuck!) However, the model DOES have a few fatal flaws:
* Silicon ring does like to peel-off, despite attempts to keep it on. Happens putting into adjustable vehicle mount or just when taking out of a jacket pocket
* Top half of the screen does not like to stick, allowing dust inside between screen and phone. Very annyoing, especially with the great degree of difficulty it is to disassemble the unit to clear it out. Dust gets in far easier than it is to blow out with compressed air. I end up pinching fingers getting it out just to clean the case and reassemble again.
* When using the kickstand, the balance of the unit is off due to the measurement of the kickstand in conjunction with the case. So even if using, it often falls over if the power cord or phone are moved. Annoying.
* There are very hard to see "ventilation holes" in the back of the unit. This feature has already been tested when the phone was nearby when I spilled some water. Nothing like the mad dash to take apart a not-meant-to-be-disassembled phone case just to get water out of the BATTERY COMPARTMENT...the ventilation holes were probably not a great idea, especially with how many air compartments the case already have. I may have to consider covering these up or switching cases.
This is a very nice in-between between a standard case and the over-the-top OtterBox. Yes, I do recommend it, just be aware of the MINOR yet somewhat annoying flaws. 4/5 (7.5/10)

What I like:
- Easy access to all of the original phone's features without having to remove the case, including the kick stand in the back and all jacks.
- Comes with an extended battery (2800 mAh), giving your EVO more longevity between charges.
- Screen protector is built in.
- Free auxiliary jack also included.
- The case provides better protection of the camera lens by creating a space buffer. Without the case, the lens is flush with the rest of the phone's surface which increases the probability of scratching the lens when the phone is placed down on its back. This case solves that problem.
- The silicone sleeve makes the phone easier to grip. It also consists of flip-up flap cut outs that protect the jacks on the side of the phone from dust.
What I dislike:
- The silicone sleeve needs to be stronger and more durable. Although the flip-up flaps are thick, the rest of the sleeve is not. The thick flap attached to thin silicone increases the likelihood of ripping the thin silicone when using the flap. My silicone sleeve is already ripped (one week after initial use!!!) and needs to be replaced. This is quite disappointing for a (nearly) $50 case.
Verdict:
If I could it all over again, I would still buy this case HOWEVER I would probably cut off (VERY CAREFULLY!) the flip-up flap that protects the phone-charger port in hopes of decreasing the chance of tearing the silicone while charging.

A nice case for the ever so great HTC EVO 4G. What a nice phone for all the non Apple people out there. The EVO needs a considerable amount of battery. The case selection for the extended battery are limited. This is a nice case, I feel protected, and its nice because the screen protector is built in. You don't need to apply one before you put on the inner case.Thats a plus. Just make sure your phone is very clean before you put it all together. The outer rubber shock protecter is a little thin for me, but all in all it works. It molds perfectly to the case and it has easy access to all ports. The battery that comes with it is a good back up, the 3500ma battery on Amazon for around 7 dollars is a steal and works great and lasts. The case is vented and keeps the battery and the phone cooler. A cooler computer is a happier computer/phone. Buy it Its a good deal.
