Only problem I had with the cable is that the F160 is not discoverable. Windows discovers the device initially, and loads the drivers, including the USB modem, but then cannot communicate with the device going forward. Does not show up under devices with removable storage, and cannot read from the device or write to it. This might be a problem with the device itself, or could be a short in the cable. It does charge up the device, which is primarily what I needed it to do, but I would have liked to be able to use the device to communicate with Windows.

You probably want to stay away from the cheap USB cable. I ordered one in September 2011 and it lasted only a week. I got a replacement with no problem but it already has quit working. This second cable I handled very carefully, it just sat on my computer desk and the only movement it had was plugging and unplugging.
