 Interface cable for my Nokia 2760Jul 18, 2010
I was bated and was switched to the wrong part for my Nokia 2760 phone. I was shipped the wrong cable and found out later that
my phone does not support interface with a computer.
Gave the cables away!

This review is for the Nokia CA-101 data-sync cable . The cable was delivered within 3 days of ordering using the "Super-Saver" shipping option. Thanks Amazon! I plugged the cable in to the phone and then the PC and Windows XP notified me of the new mobile phone hardware. I clicked on the Nokia PC Suite software program (previously downloaded from the Nokia site) and was able to view my phone's contact list as well as the other options available such as the app store etc. I was pleasantly surprised about the ease with which the whole process took. Plug it in and it works. A note about the quality of the cable and an added feature: The cable is sturdy -- much more so than you might expect from experience with typical mobile phone cables such as charger cables. It also has a Nokia branded tag that also acts as a holder to keep the cable coiled and out of the way when not using it. Judging by the design it is meant both to be convenient and to last. Another great feature is that the cable charges the phone while in sync mode. I noticed two green bars one indicating charging status and the other the amount of charge the phone has -- both visible while you are using the Nokia PC Suite. Since from other reviewers I was expecting only a sync cable without charging capability I was pleasantly surprised about this convenience. Good job Nokia and Amazon!

This cable works great with my Nokia 6350 phone, my HP Pavilion laptop (Win XP SP3), and the Nokia PC Suite. I do not know why other buyers complain that the cable does not supply USB port power to charge the phone, but that is not the case with my setup: my phone is charging fine via USB as I write this review.
Quality of the cable is excellent, which seems to be an authentic Nokia CA-101, Thailand-made assembly. The retailer SF Planet shipped it standard delivery, and got it to my doorstep in 10 days over the US Memorial Day weekend, so no complaints there.
It was hard to wait, for I was impatient to upload my own custom rings and alerts to replace the deliriously wretched ones that ship with the Nokia 6350.

I received the USB CA101 Connectivity Cable sooner than expected and was able to use it right away. It is very easy to use and I can now retrieve files from my phone very easily.
