Review of USB sync cable for Samung EternityMar 01, 2009
By Richard Lamontagne I took a chance and purchased this cable. It works. I have a Samsung Eternity A867 from AT&T. I installed the New Samsung PC Studio from Samsung and used the drivers from their website. I did not try the mini CD that came with the cable as the program an older version of the softaware needed to transfer items to and from the phone. My PC is running Vista SP1 and I had no problems using this cable. I had more problems trying to setup a bluetooth connection which is why I bought the cable.
My setup:
** Samsung Eternity with software downloaded with most current software and drivers updated from their website before connecting the phone.
** Vista w/Service Pack 1
** Cable
Works fine and does what it's supposed to. As a side note, the little cell phone antenna came with it and I read on the net that it can improve signal strength possibly 1 bar. I can't confim if that is true or not but it doesn't cost anything to install it. I can say it didn't hurt my phone since installing it. I hopt this review helps. Remember the key for this product working is that you are using the most current program and drivers which can be had by going to the Samsung website.

Works great to sync and chargeJan 22, 2009
By David Cox This cable works great to sync and to charge. All you have to sync is to install the required software (USB driver) from the Samsung website. I originally bough a data cable at the AT&T store for $20 and was not able to sync so had to return it, but this one worked great. After I saw this cable in Amazon but before I bought it I went to an accessories store in the local mall and they wanted $30 for the Eternity data cable. When I told the guy that the cable was available for $2 at Amazon he assured me I would have to return it because it would not work. He said it was impossible for me to get it at the price since his wholesaler gave it to him for $10. I guess he should change his wholesaler. Save yourself a bundle of money and buy this cable.

It works...Feb 20, 2009
By Ian Hartwig This USB cable allows charging and file transfers to and from the samsung sway. Well constructed, standard USB cable end. Can also be used to charge from a wall power adapter. Great seller, extremely fast shipping.

Not worth the cost of shippingFeb 14, 2009
By David G. Neale-Lorello I ordered this cable as an extra sync cable for my Samsung Omnia i910. It came with a mini-CD of drivers, which should have been my first clue (the cable that came native with the i910 needed no drivers). Despite having meticulously followed the installation instructions, using the cable would cause my desktop (Windows XP Pro SP3) to crash about 50% of the time. Now, I'm stuck with a useless piece of electronic junk because it will cost me more to ship the thing back to the seller (who does not refund shipping costs) than I paid for it.
Don't do what I did and be sure to check the seller's refund policies before buying a cheap knock-off product!

USB Sync CableFeb 14, 2009
By D. Tabler The cable and software arrived on time and in perfect condition. The cable works fine. The software came on a mini DVD that my HP desktop will not read, due to the disk slipping out of the depression in the DVD drive. An older HP handles the mini DVD fine. I've transferred about about 20 albums and 50 photos to the phone with few problems. The process is a little tedious as I've only been successful copying one song at a time, not the whole album, but that's likely just a learning curve problem. I saw a similar cable at the AT&T store at 4X the cost and without software. This cable was a great value.
