for everyone who buys this:
you should charge this battery for like 10-14 hours the first few times. also it takes a few uses before it starts showing its best battery life.
i have gone through conditioning a few of these (my whole family uses this phone) and i have to say it's best after about a week of ownership.

When I saw this item drop from $39.99 I jumped on the deal and bought it immediately. I received it in less no more than 3 business days, which was pretty awesome in itself.
The case fits flush to my phone and doesn't detract from its appearance.
The battery didn't do so great at first, but after my 4th use it started to give me amazing battery life. I'm talking like full-day performance at moderate use. My phone used to die halfway through the day, so this is a welcome change.
Very satisfied.

For the price this is a great buy. My original battery would lose half of it's power only after a few hours of use. This one remained at full charge by the end of the day. When I got up the following day it was only down about 1/3, but began to drain more quickly as the day rolled on, which is to be expected. Overall, with normal use, it lasted about a day and a half, as opposed to the half day that I was getting from the one that came with my phone.
I like the fact that it comes with a cover to compensate for the larger size of the battery, but now my skin doesn't fit it. I don't know if there is a skin that fits one that thick. If there is, then I would rate this item 5 stars. I can live without the skin, and the cover that came with it is a nice non-slip surface that doesn't slide out of my pocket.

I've had my incredible for about 9 months and love everything about it except for the battery life. On an average day, spontaneously making calls, texting and running apps, my phone would be completely dead in 7-9 hours if i didn't plug it in at some point.
I got the new battery yesterday and it claimed it would take 5 full charge cycles to get the full effect but on day 1 the end of my work day rolled around and instead of having a dead phone or 20% charge at most I have 65%! If it gets better from here that's just icing on the cake but I'm 100% satisfied if this is as good as it gets.
The only drawback is the phone is substantially larger. I didn't use a case before and the phone was pretty slick. Now it's 2x or more the thickness (very brick-like) and the back panel it comes with isn't as nice as the original. This is just a mater of opinion but I will give a little on looks and size for functionality.

The item pictured is not what you get. They will send you a battery that will fit in your phone, but the cover they sent will not work for the HCT Droid Incredible. I can not tell you what phone it will fit, but it is not yours. When you try to use the Amazons return/replace site, they will only return the whole order and not correct the item that is wrong or replace the cover. They tell you that it is not thier fault. So you are stuck with making the decision of whether to return the order and be stuck with the original crappy battery that came with the phone or the new battery that fits but you wont have a cover to keep your new battery from falling out. Very dissapointing either way!
