This replacement battery is not name brand, it is an aftermarket product. I purchased the battery and it would not hold a charge at all [literally]. Contacted the seller and they quickly replaced it. The second battery works great. Definitely holds a charge. As other people have reviewed, the battery is a bit bigger than the original [it fits perfectly in the battery slot, however the it has a "butt." This may be an issue for those who have a holster, as the battery may not allow a proper fit of it [had to get rid of my holster].

My battery was losing its charge after a day. I needed to charge it every night, which was a pain as I have no car charger. I decided to buy this one....MISTAKE!!! Piece of crrrrrrrap (make sure you "roll" the "r")!
Same deal, it's twice the size of my old, which I was fine with, figuring I'd get a longer charge....wrong! Still need to charge EVERY night. Better to take the 5 bucks (2 bucks for the batter and 3 to ship) and buy yourself a nice cheeseburger, mmmmmmmmmm.

Great product! My old battery was losing it's charge quickly and even when charged, my phone was shutting off at random times. I changed the original battery for this one and all those problems resolved instantly! Can't beat the price, either.

This product is little thicker than OEM one, so obviously gives a little longer battery life. Mines, I recharge every 3 days (compared to OEM every 2 days). But one thing strange is that, about a month's usage later, my cell phone power goes off from time to time by itself! (3~4 times a day), resulting missing phone calls,.. Maybe this battery's contact points are faulty ? or it discharges a noisy, unstable voltage out?, I don't know.. So I have to keep looking at my cell phone to make sure it's not off.
If you can live with that, buy it. But if you don't want to keep turing your cell phone back on, go buy OEM.

The battery is incredible. It has held the charge for longer than the original ever did. It has been running with light use for the past 4 days and still has four bars. The battery does stick out a little, but not past the camera, and the corners are rounded nicely. The biggest thing visually is that the surface looks new while my camera is all dinged and scratched. Really a great deal. Shipping was a few days. With the price you have nothing to lose, and if your experience was anything like mine, everything to gain. Well, at least a great new cell battery to gain. Finally I dont need to check the charge all day, or charge every night!
I should note that it will add 2-3 mm of thickness to the phone, so if you have a case you love, it may not fit.
