 Just a Super-Slim Aesthetic White Shell - No Drop ProtectionFeb 22, 2011

As title says it all - if you just want an inexpensive, nice white shell for your iPhone 4, and don't need any protection for it, then this is a decent shell.
Very slim and light. The sides are transparent. There is minimal protection from falls to hard/scratchy surfaces at best.
This is mainly to protect from scratches as you lay/place the phone on various surfaces/places, not protect from drops.
I got this right after I bought the phone for exactly that purpose, then I spent the next several days researching for a good protective shell and have since replaced it.
For ultimate protection, get the Otterbox Defender case("The Tank"), which also adds CONSIDERABLE bulk to your phone.
For medium protection, you can get a Speck shell, which adds medium bulk, but not too bad.
For slim protection, you can try the Case Crown Slider shell, which is just about as slim as this generic shell, but offers more protection with its slim padded inner side and a polycarbonate shell.

Though it doesnt look like the pictured, it does the job, especially for $5.00. It is slim and I wanted a case that looked like the white iPhone and I got it. From afar it looks like I have the only white iPhone in town, but upon closer inspection it is just a cheap plastic case. The case does a good job of protecting the screen when placed faced down. Only complaint is the sharp edged which i had to file down. Overall I like the case and would give it a 3.5/5 stars. Wouldn't pay more than $5.00 though.

I'm surprised almost no one has mentioned the fact that your flash becomes useless when you install this case. The case itself is nicely made for the money, and fit my iPhone 4S fine, but if you use flash, the light reflects off the case and washes the photo out. For me, this is the reason not to use this case.

I dont understand why people are complainig so much about this case. The back looks just like the white iphone 4S back. the one i got didnt have an ovular hole opening in the back for a camera, but a form fitted one. You can't even tell a case is on it. Only con to this is that i feel the form fitted hole for the flash is too close to the flash and the flash reflects back off the white into the lense area and creates a haze if the object is 5 feet or further away from u. anything closer and u cant tell.
as far as quality of the plastic: its not as cheap as other chinese iphone plastic cases that just snap. Its a softer plastic. like polycarbonate. It fits snug onto the phone and doesn't pinch the screen protector. the top and bottom arent covered, but that doesnt bother me, cuz the corners r covered. it will scratch if u drop it. but i'd rather have my case scratched than my phone. ITS A CASE. its supposed to take the damage. dont complain if ur case gets a few scratches.
anddd IT FITS THE NEW IPHONE 4S!!! the area where the volume/vibrate rocker is located is a full long cut out so it'll fit any 4. I put it on my friend's GSM iphone and my other friend's iphone 4 Verizon and it fits fine on both with perfect accessibility to buttons.
If u want a sleek basic protection of scratches, bumps, and average drops, this is ur case. If u want military protection, then go buy something some obvious industrial protection. Dont complain about this case not being one of those rugged camping cases. It wasn't manufactured for that purpose.
