The YX025-CEL is an optional outdoor antenna upgrade for the YX500-CEL which provides additional signal strength in interior spaces and is used to increase the area of improved cell coverage. The antenna is recommended for areas with weak outdoor signals strength to provide peak system performance. The YX025-CEL yagi antenna replaces the omni-directional signal antenna and provides 7 dBi of gain. All hardware is included to mount on masts up to 1 5/8” diameter. The YX699 is a perfect complement in setting the direction of the YX025 antenna.

This product was purchased to go along with my ZBoost YX500. It did help improve my signal by app. 1 bar consistently, which is what we needed to use our wireless aircard at our house.
The ZBoost helped a lot but comes with a pretty lackluster antenna, pick this up to get full use of your ZBoost purchase.
